How to incubate and fruit large numbers of shoeboxes?

Hi all,
I'm wanting to improve my yields and find a culture that is actually worth slanting. So far whenever I've cloned something or started from a MS syringe, I've just chucked it in a mini mono and hoped for the best. I've gotten to the point where I've just started using shoeboxes to test clones and MS grows (as in if I grow Golden Teachers from a MS syringe, I'll end up with 3-4 plates taken from different sectors on an earlier plates and grow out all 4 of these plate in shoeboxes)
I'm fairly new to the shoebox game. My method so far has been 1 jar of sub and 1 jar of spawn and 1/2 jar of casing to a shoebox. I put the closed shoebox inside a closed pasty ez mono, remove the lid of the shoebox once it's fully colonised and wait for it to fruit inside the mono. However, now I've got about 30-40 plates that will go to grain and eventually into shoeboxes and I'm wondering about how to do this....
I've seen photos on various threads of shoeboxes with their lids off, sitting on shelves (in closets or grow tents, i couldn't tell but definitely just sitting there in the open). I've read about putting each shoebox into plastic bag once it's ready to fruit and poking holes in the bag.
Does anyone have any advice on how to incubate and fruit a large amount of shoeboxes at one time?
I have a feeling I'm going to need to buy a grow tent and shelves

Just stack the closed shoeboxes? This isn’t rocket science. I’ve run bunches of shoeboxes and never needed a tent. With your low sub volume you might be able to fruit without removing the lid. I like them a bit fuller, 1qt spawn to 2qt sub and additional top layer. I let them push the lids up when they grow. If it’s too dry for that where you are just toss a bag over the shoebox. Get some ideas here.

But yeah you could probably use a shelf. Mine fits 6 shoeboxes side by side, so I stagger my tubs so that I only have 6-12 fruiting at a time. Light on top, two rows for tubs that are actively fruiting & dubbed, next row goes to jars & plates, with the rest of my boxes on the bottom shelf stacked & waiting for room up top.

Shaper Dreaming improved upon mushboy’s tek. It’s very well written. Iirc she’s harvesting 5 shoeboxes a week on a continuous cycle in a tiny apartment without turning it into a mush house.

Ah ok, thanks for the info, never thought to let them push the lid up. I'd seen mushboy's tek but he use's mono's to fruit his shoeboxes in so was looking for a way around that. thanks again

Awesome, this is exactly the info I've been searching for. Cracking the lids and letting them push through is the key piece I've been missing. Much appreciated

Yeah I use the ez dialed monos for my grows but have got myself into a situation where I've got way too many plates to grow out and not even close to enough monos. I've got all these plates now and in a month and a half won't have too much time to give to growing so need to get them all going soonish. The ziploc bag seems awesome, saves me from buy 20 more shoeboxes
