Why do I keep seeing "lorem ipsum" EVERYWHERE?
    #28464907 - 09/11/23 12:53 AM (4 months, 15 days ago)

I first saw this text "lorem ipsum" while using the text feature from photoshop a couple of months ago. Ever since then, I keep seeing it fucking EVERYWHERE. I never even knew what it was until I started seeing it everywhere "Lorem ipsum".

This is very strange and starting to drive me crazy. I've never seen this word up until a couple months ago on photoshop.

What is the significance of this and why do I keep seeing it?

I remember something about the place holder in text relating to interpretations, debate around holy names in a Judeo-Christian context. It was not treated just academically but in some esoteric intrigue.

Nevertheless I think I am misinterpreting lorem ipsum and place holder in context.

Quote:

ChatGPT

"Lorem ipsum" is a placeholder text commonly used in the printing and typesetting industry. It is used to fill space in a document or layout when the actual content is not yet available or finalized. The text is typically a scrambled version of a passage from the works of the Roman philosopher Cicero, with the purpose of not distracting the reader with meaningful content while allowing the design and layout to be evaluated.

Here is an example of the "Lorem ipsum" text:

It's important to note that "Lorem ipsum" has no actual meaning; it's just a placeholder for content.

It's way more than just a place holder, I looked into it one time and went down a rabbit hole that got kinda deep with hidden language and apps that decode lorem ipsum, it was a clothing site, that I searched it and it came up to get. Invite for it, it was kinda crazy.

it's filler text for designers. you use it to make sure your layout is going to look right. it doesn't really mean anything.
