Lionsmane 5 Week in - Why have they stopped growing / not forming teeth?

Hi I bought some lionsmane liquid culture from etsy that i let form in a grow bag (sterilised rye grain). The mycelium formed and i added it to a large sterilised plastic container with vermiculite mixed in. about week 3 I began to get the fruit in. I transferred it to my grow tent with a humidifier and they seem to have stopped growing. Some are brown and they still look like cauliflower rather than lionsmane with teeth. I understand I probably should've grown them in the initial rye grain bag by cutting slits in the side and misting them less aggressively as i think the humidifier is providing too much moisture and water is dripping down. Am I correct in those assumptions? Are they salvagable? Are they edible at this point? Can I harvest them for spore collection to have another go at this point? Any tips for lionsmane and other common edibles (blue oyster, morels etc) in a tent/ humidifier setup like mine? Thanks

Hey man, I would say pick them asap and yes you can eat them as they are. I would suggest next time doing master's mix and clean grain spawn in bags rather than a tub. Fruiting from the side of the bag will create dense fruits as apposed to top fruiting. I believe your set up probably needs a fan for FAE with a filtered hole at the bottom of your tent to allow c02 out, also you have your lion's mane at the bottom of your tent where the most C02 will be so this probably is part of the problem. As an alternative you could look at growing in buckets. Another low tek idea is to use incontinence pads soaked in water (diaper tek, Edward grand, you tube) this creates less droplets.
I hope this helps.

I'm probably too late responding to this, but you can even just clone to multiple agar plates by taking tiny tissue samples from inside of the nicest fruits, rather than starting from spore.
