Why I talk to objects. Taoism is not insanity.

I had always lived my life that way. I read about it once when I was 10. I always had that word in my head. But when I really looked at it, it was just a bunch of people like me that got eradicated. By the communist party of China. Because they taught respect and love. Some thing that can’t be tolerated under that regime.
What it means to me
I treat everything with a deep respect. I want things to last as long as possible. Items gain character over time. You learn their foibles and their ways. Sometimes you can even criticize them. When they’re acting silly.
Long after I’m gone, I will have left the world a better place. Hopefully people remember my ideas, concepts, may be even the words.
Everything has a spirit. Not literally every single rock. But there is a spirit of rocks. There is also a spirit of pebbles Of gravel… etc.

well at least they keep their opinions to themselves. although that does not provide the kind of practice you need at this point.

I wrote you an apology, but I can’t send it to you.
I would like to know what you think. Let me know if you’re interested.

I think that's very sweet in some ways.
- I am not looking for any apologies,
- not from you or from anyone
- just take ownership (custody) of what you do in the moment.
- I would appreciate more of a diplomatic presence and this means that even after you have arrived you still keep on grokking what is going on because the ground is always shifting, as is the body, as is the mind, as is the forum.
- Even when perfectly still, stuff is changing and we are getting updates 10 times per second.
- Lets make cleaning your gun mean something in a zen way (note: this messages has been delivered as bullets).

I will fight for what I believe in. But I always try to take different opinions under consideration. Thank you. My father had me inherit his complete lack of patience. It’s been a lifelong battle to try and fight that. It’s not entirely an apology either. Just wanted to tell you some stuff. I’d still be interested in sending it you. I just won’t post it. It’s for you, not everyone.
Sincerely, Genesis

@GenysC This persona of mine is in the forum only. Connecting with me via PM is not an option which I have mentioned in the PM that led to me blocking your PM's. I do not want to have a personal only relationship with you.
So,
when is the next scheduled zen gun cleaning?

Fair enough. The message was for your persona. That’s the only version of you that I know. So that’s the only one that I would’ve wrote this message for. I’m not saying that we should go hang out at the pub. In it, I asked if you could just try to leave your comments on the threads they are in reference to. I have been taking omega oil. But it really does mess with me. I can’t tell you what to do. Just as a favor to me.
Sincerely, Genesis

Where you think of threads spooling - kosher-style without contacting other threads, I think of fabrics woven from threads (the forums at large); the intricate designs of which impinge back on the threads themselves which do not exist merely to spoolify, but to weave and dance together in creation of a forum of interest.
Accordingly some threads seem to belong naturally in some fabrics, while others belong in the spirituality and mysticism forum. And gun sport belongs with fire arms and sports, unless we get to the Zen of gun cleaning, which raises it all up a notch.

Like I said. I’m not telling you what to do. But if I’m making a thread on something completely unrelated to a comment you just made based off of a previous thread. It throws me & some others off. For example, when I’m trying to tell people my guided method for meditation. Then you start talking about my gun thread. That feels inappropriate to me.

Based upon the content of your meditation thread, do you think this method ties into the philosophy and psychology discussion group or perhaps more to the spirituality and mysticism group? https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/28448570 Note: I am not the only one to whom the "conquering" aspect emerged after your initial explanation. Psychology is all about personality and association.
Like all of us, you are a person of many talents and interests, negotiating your way in a wild and woolly universe. If you do conquer more than the domain of your own habits, you will have to take custody of that which you do conquer, and that might keep you tied up with details, or leave a swath of demoralization.
You already have a trail of 17 different topics, a veritable obstacle course of detail in your first week of activity.
Cross talk from any topic is unavoidable.
do what you do do.

take ownership (custody) of what you do in the moment.
The 'appropriate' response to discomfort being punishment.
Now we have 2 superpowers punishing each other in 'appropriate' measure.

Because when I start a thread about meditation. Then somebody starts talking about guns, because I did make a thread about guns at some point. I’d prefer it wasn’t that way.but… “ I don’t give a fuck”

I like what redgreenvines is saying to OP.
OP, if everything has a spirit, don’t back track and say, well, not every rock has a spirit. Why not? I know I could easy make a face sewn onto any rock and have detailed conversation with that spirit of rock.
Also, OP, I have friend who meditates a lot. Say like three times a day sometimes and also does long meditation seminars here and there on the west coast of America. He gains a lot of strength to his practice by participating in grouped meditations. Some cool energy shifts around from person to person in time of meditation. Then, when break of that meditation and the social scene opens back up, some cooler personal connections made to those in shared space there.
Talking of meditation on a thread is as dry as a caskets body. Religions and practice are pretty darn cool things yet only really in place of practice.
These threads for communication purposes. Self proclamations as reminders to own home walls really don’t hang up so good on others. They have their own intelligence. And self expression of one’s character kinda as a billboard to see as others surf this World Wide Web.
I post up here and seems give more a headache to me ego than that of sharing brief words to anyone passing on the streets walk.
Hear what I see to meditation, as can share detail; for one, sitting is so very uncomfortable. There is so much to do within and without. Very blessed we humans are to the abundance of food and pleasure to consume that food does require an energy of movement. In that movement healing the body comes kindly. This said, a lot of meditation walls having to break through using mental power probably is just the changing and passing of crap through the intestinal tract. Like you speak of patience, imagine trying to be that turd to lower bowels and body completely ready to dump that turd down and out, yet, one finds need to take moment to meditate, putting a halt to bodies breathe and heart rate, changing that pace of such energy shifting. Now, all the while, the patience you learning really can be of speaking to that turds passing from body.
Ok. I sitting at laundry mat and do find it great fun, at times, to poke at one’s words about what this is and that is, especially to such philosophical, psychological and spiritual topics. I learned very nicely from some book on spirituality from author Singh. I was attracted to book for reasoning of no copyright as stated ‘words are free,’ or something. Then, as later go onto read, his writing were purely insulting towards anyone’s intellect. Though, if one seeking that of which one can’t come to thought of own…. I got a humorous disposition from that book.
Now, another good sight of eye opener was watching George Harrison and John Lennon on interview speaking about meditation. Without criticizing all to much about the joker, better Jester like quality to such figures own Kings, Queens and Lords they about for, I found great laugh to of how John Lennon spoke of meditation as really good for getting excited to go do something, as he’s words really just a spiteful ‘I’ve been sitting here for the last hour meditating all the while I could’ve been doing…’ his doings.
OP, yo do yoga? How’s your physic? This patience trip of your could really build a strong, well curved healthy body. For in much Asanas, postures, holding that Asana can grow muscle very nicely, let alone have self feeling less constricted to the dominating repeated movement of normal living routine.
Whatcha got in response, hopefully something reciprocating this time spent throwing you much ideas here.
