Attempting first Natalensis Grow 1

Hi All,
I'm attempting a Natalensis grow and the mycelium seems pretty healthy in my tub but is kinda like marshmallows. And I know people in other forums have said put in fruiting conditions sooner. I'm just wondering based on the picture I'm providing what next moves should be. I was thinking put it in fruiting conditions but obviously not sure.

Yeah right info fruiting for pretty much all species.
That tub looks normal so far, in my experience nats are very reactive to contam and will start producing yellow/blue/green puddles of metabolites if junk lands on the overlay. Not that it damages anything usually, but itโs good yours is still all white.
Thereโs a whole natalensis thread too if you havenโt seen it yet.

I have read the natalensis thread (it's huge!), and the "let's grow natalensis"(@Krayl grow) thread.
What I can't seem to figure out from the threads is how to get them to pin like normal cubensis. It looked like Krayl got that to happen but don't know what he really did differently (although his substrate is interesting)
I just don't know what's gonna happen. I guess I'm anticipating blobs and maybe some fruits... I guess I'm just gonna go with it and see what happens.
As always, thanks for the support!

Little more FAE for nats in my experience but you got overlay too and I think that prohibits as good of a flush?

Lots of fea and patience with the overlay. Go back to spore and find the nat that doesn't overlay after.

Well I definitely have a tub of bright white marshmallows. So you're saying knock out a whole bunch of little tubs till I find one that doesn't overlay and clone those guys?

Well you could do that but you should also go back to spore and start over.

I am definitely going back to spore.
Also just to see what would happen, I continued to watch this tub. Iโm now getting quite a few skinny little pins poking through the marshmallow sea.

Nats require MUCH more air then cubes to pin, look up some yoshi amino old in the lab videos on YouTube, he has amazing in depth vids talking about all things nats.

So these guys are much more delicate than say the Tidal Wave I'm growing at the moment. When should I harvest these little fellas?
I've added some pics to try to give an idea of where they're at. They've most certainly broken their veils and the taller ones are about 2 inches tall.

And as always thank you for the kind support.

Nice! That's a cool looking pheno. Personally, I'd wait till they flatten out a little. Can we get a pic of the gills?

Ok, so this was interesting for me. I'd never grown Natalensis and thus never bumped into the Natalensis overlay situation. The advice given was apt and I just waited until pins poked up through the marshmallow sea of overlay, and ultimately I wound up with a first flush dried of 53 grams.
I dig this strain and will keep growing it. For me the phenotype was very delicate, and being one used to growing PE and Tidal Wave that are pretty thick and chunky, I liked the change.
As far as potency and trying these guys; I haven't done that yet but will and will report.
Here's a pic of the dry first flush:

I finally got around to testing the potency of these guys. Subjectively they feel slightly stronger than the Penis Envy that I grow. It's an impressive little mushroom.
Currently fruiting another much larger tub of Natalensis now. Hopefully see similar results. Also the tub that produced these is on its second flush.
Good times.
