Can you stack sawdust blocks or will they overheat like grain?

Hey all, was curious if it’s likely for sawdust bags that are touching to overheat in the same way grain spawn will. I imagine it might depend on what kind of supplementation the spawn has?
I’m getting into cultivating gourmets/medicinals for the first time at a slightly larger scale and am curious about maximizing the amount of bags on my shelves.

It's relative to ambient room temp, strain, block size, and suppliments.
It's good to have a slight space between each bag when colonizing. Especially with heavily supplimented 10# blocks. Colonization temps are often an overlooked step in the process that important for many of the gourmet species. Too high of a temp and you'll end up with stroma in your oysters and things like kings, black pearl, and shiitake perform poorly when colonization temps get too high

I don't have any pics right now. But I just stack 2. I do lengthwise(fruiting from the end instead of the sides) so I can have air flow space between the bags on the sides and for room for the mushroom clusters to not crowd in too close. I am using 5 lb blocks. I have seen videos of people using 10 lb blocks. I place a short length of PVC pipe on the end where the mushrooms will be fruiting from to lift it up and give the mushroom clusters more space so they don't grow in together and ruin the shapes. This gives the top one a lengthwise angle to the bottom one. So only a corner of each block is touching. Using the pvc pipe is what I do.. others just stack.

Thanks, I figured all those variables mattered. my blocks are 6-7lbs and i'm experimented with bran versus master's mix to compare how these varieties do on each. I'll experiment with stacking and see how it goes.
Thanks for chiming in everyone.
