Learning patience with Peyote (cultivation) 2

Been told this compound is the OG
The absolute pinnacle of what all psychedelics experiences hope to be when used properly. It was incredibly tempting. But it is also incredibly rare. San Pedro grows very quickly comparatively. But I didn’t want that. I wanted the OG.
So I decided, even though the commitment was seven years of my life. I knew that I would live that long and would take care of them for that long. The reward for my patience would be a transcendent experience. They are my good friends that live in my room. They will live with me for as long as they can. I enjoy taking care of them and watching them plump up even if it is very slow. This plant helped me begin my journey of patience. I liked to have a musical alarm set until I got a timer. Which played a specific song that I would bring to them and let it play as a lullaby. I also like to speak to my plants. They respond well to both.
A little advice. You’re basically all alone on this thing. There is a church. It’s called the way of The Peyote God church. They are not accepting phone calls. Which makes me wonder why they even have a phone number.
If they don’t wanna help you, it doesn’t matter. Because I do.
If you’re Peyote turns a reddish brown. Don’t panic.
It just means that it’s root has gotten too big to get enough water from the spot it’s in. It is not deep enough anymore. All you need to do is take whatever you’re planting with. Remove from the medium all large chunks, just have dust. Perhaps if it is of the right composition, just a sprinkle of sand even. Just just a tiny sprinkle around it’s edge circumference.

Spray that with 3% Hydro water. They love it like that. But to prevent scale. Follow that with just distilled water spray. I have almost no scale built at all. But I did have a tiny bit because I was spraying just the 3% and leaving it on them. Which they love don’t get me wrong. But we don’t want any scale forming on them. Also, I use mosquito dunks There’s only one beneficial creature that could live in a terrarium. And as helpful as they were. Those attracted a flying creature. You don’t want any flying creatures in your terrarium at all. So to prevent that from ever happening again, just put a tiny little bit of dust of the mosquito dunk around the Peyotes enviroment. It is completely safe and will prevent larva from being able to grow in the soil ever again. I got something off Amazon called grow chamber.

Or seed starter. It’s just a tiny closed area with a grow light on top of it and a heating pad underneath. There was a spacer that I would suggest you use. You want about 10 inches between the light and the buds. The heating pad underneath promotes root growth I’ll leave it on all the time. It just gets a little bit warm externally but internally. It actually is a nice little toasting that prevents the soil from staying wet too long. By converting it into much-needed humidity. The one I got did include two little plastic rings that you could use in theory to control humidity. They are trash. Just put two shot glasses on top. It keeps it tightly closed. And prevents more moisture from escaping. For watering you never put water directly on these plants. They are very delicate. I made a Tupperware for them. One of the small square ones. Then I used a nail popped a grid into the bottom and along the edge. It drains very quickly. I like to pretend we’re in the Arizona desert, and there was one of the many floods. So you just take the Tupperware hold it until the surface is above the surface of the water. Let the water come in from underneath it and saturate the soil. Then lift the Tupperware and gently go up and down with it until the water stops dripping. You don’t want the soil to be saturated for too long. You want it to dry quickly that’s the goal here. But they also absolutely love humidity. So I leave it. Pretty darn wet. That way for the next few days they get a nice steamy environment. They love a good shfitz.

It was in jest. I meant more. How arcane the conversation had become when really it was just about learning patience through botany.

Not exactly arcane, more like visiting hour at the "home for the very very nervous".

Gorgeous
No, did you grow these yourself? Or are these some of the ones you have to buy from China and hope it makes it to you through eBay. I’ve heard very mixed results from the second option. Most of the time it’s from some greenhouse were some dude is allowed to grow it, but it’s illegal to. So they tend to have a lot of diseases and they don’t do well in the shipping process. Otherwise, I think I might’ve tried this. But I desperately wanted to grow them from seed myself. The ultimate test of my patience will reward me with a wonderful trip. I even learned cutting technique so that I wouldn’t kill the plant. It should grow back. If done correctly, I might even get 2 buttons instead of one from the cut.

An insect tried to attack one. But I re-planted with a higher perlite mixture for faster drain. I also cut bigger holes on the big Tupperware. And I put some rocks on the bottom of it. They seem to love everything I’m doing. Every morning I spritz them down with a little bit of basic water. Then with a little bit of pure water just to make sure none of it tries to develop scale.
