It's disgusting and it makes me furious. Worse clicking on it to see how scammy it is has of course only made me see it more. Apparently reporting and blocking an ad only works for that specific ad, not the advertiser.
Here's the report I'm sending to google:
Quote:
They're flagrantly abusing ADA law loopholes and selling something that people can get for free. I checked their "approval exam" and it seems like it's impossible to not be approved. I'd also be very surprised if they are actually working with properly qualified MDs.. This ad is misleading at best and scammy at worst. Please work to remove it and help protect the ADA and your users.
The advertiser even uses "the ADA is about to get more restrictive" as part of its advertising. The reason is because of people taking advantage of the law like this.
Taking advantage of the fact that service animals do not have to be registered and it is illegal to ask what your service animal is for (meaning they're also selling a service you don't need.)
But Cookie shouldn't that loophole be closed? Idk man like in an ideal world a disabled person would be able to get a registered service dog easily and for free but this world isn't ideal and lawmakers had that in mind when they intentionally allowed disabled people's to train their own service animals. The idea of the law is to make their lives easier because society already does alot of shit to make it harder.
And here we go again because Karen doesn't know how to make baby FuufuuPuff stay at home.
And fuck people with dog allergies and fuck any remote understanding of how a dog is a dog and can get anxious and bite someone or attack another (possibly legitimate) service animal.
I take this personally as some years ago I was seriously considering getting a service dog and training it myself because my health was not good and I was physically unable to do simple things for myself at times. Still scares the shit out of me that I might be like that again. Life's hard enough man.
I took the "evaluation exam" on that website and literally any input leads to "approval." And it's clearly geared towards people with very basic and ordinary nervousness, anxiety, depression, loneliness, and simply not wanting to leave their dog. "Want to take your dog anywhere? Want to be able to move into a new place?" Not only was the law not written for this... The law also does not actually cover emotional support animals. Many state laws specifically exclude emotional support animals.
Which is why airlines could ban them outright.
They're lying to people and playing on a misunderstanding of a grey area that is adjacent to a loophole and reinforced by the "don't ask" part of the law. Which is, again, there to protect people with disabilities from discrimination and humiliation.
The law was written to give disabled people freedom, independence, security, and dignity. And we're flagrantly shitting on it. And them.
I wish I knew how else to report them and put them out of business. It's a scam playing on a disgusting trend in our society. I am disgusted.

I totally get it. That’s a total scam Everyone having their dogs everywhere is ridiculous too. I shop hardware stores a lot and these big burly dudes, some with leather vests even, stroll around looking like a wimp cause they need the doggie by their side.
Recently I saw.a guy with a 4 ft tall dog lunge at a guy that was just walking by and I snapped this pic this week.

The thing that really disgusts me is a trend in our society that anything that can be taken advantage of should be taken advantage of.
I wanna do what I wanna do so I'm gonna do it cuz no one is gonna stop me.
We're like this with driving too. With police giving out less tickets the roads have gotten way worse.

I want an emotional support animal. I want this snake Malayopython reticulatus they from the golden triangle in Assia by China. it can eat me. I want it to eventually I want to marry the snake. I dont want to have sex just feed it myself. I think if you smoked a shitload of heroin weed and PCP it would eat you alive when you passed out. I think it has chemicals inside its stomach that get you high. I want to eat peyote and become the snake like GTA 5 I want to be a snake it would be fun hunting all the time.

What if the one & only viable method capable of providing myself with adequate levels of emotional support was via consuming both the mind and flesh of that of another's emotional support animal?
...What then, precious!?

I take my dog to the hardware store so she can socialize and get some steps in. Does that bother you? She’s cleaner and better behaved than 99% of the scat flinging primates folks tend to drag through there

If your local hardware store is cool with that then that's fine. If you're passing it off as a service animal to get around the rules then it's not.

Yeah the Lowes here allows leashed animals. I was mostly just wondering why Mr. Stallion was judgmental towards those with dogs. Not wanting to be around untrained dogs is one thing, but why do you care if the animal is well behaved?
Worry not Stallion I do not judge you for the hatred in your heart, for I know your cannot help yourself.

I guess you missed the part about the huge dog lunging and snapping at a guy that walked by at what should've been a safe distance. I'm sure that dog owner would've told you he was a well trained "good boy"
Not all dog owners are responsible and other people can't tell which dogs are and which ones aren't. I'm totally fine with legit service animals but this "emotional support" animal in public thing is stupid in all aspects

No I didn’t miss that part, but the way you phrased it made it seem like you assume that everyone you see with a non service dog is a punkass.
Yeah the ESA thing is dumb but the onIy places I really see dogs around here are parks, outdoor restaurants, and some stores. Unfortunately, in regards to intelligence most people are average, which is maybe a hair smarter than of a box of rocks.
I will continue to bring my dog into public where they’re allowed. I will be unencumbered by your negativity

I have no problem with someone that actually needs the support of their animal to go out on public. I don’t understand that concept personally but I don’t judge those that truly feel like that. The issue is that people abuse it and clearly some people that take their dogs everywhere don’t actually need it and the problem is that other people don’t know those dogs and women and children I know feel fear seeing an aggressive dog they don’t know up close.
Plus not all dog owners are responsible and delude themselves such as the people I know who’s dog bit off a kids lip when the kid reached out to pet it and they literally did nothing about it. Kept the dog, didn’t do any training, and still have parties with kids around it. That just doesn’t seem responsible to me

Certain parts of America you can pretty much bring whatever kind of animal you want with you to the store and nobody gets paid enough to care

I like animals more than people honestly. They are more kind and don't understand right or wrong. I was thinking about Adam and Eve and the tree of knowledge it sucks tree roots are watched by a government that doesn't respect religions that are not mainstream. I wish there was a separation of church and state. I think being killed by an animal would be less painful than life of persecution by the government

The ones that go for the throat are kind.
Some animals methods of disabling and eating their prey is not so kind. None of it is kinder than a bullet to the brain.
We are animals too. We persue our goals without thought to the hurt it causes. But it does make us worse because we do have the potential to reason and think of kindness, and not simply satiating our hunger.

Humans have the capacity to be kind but the world we live in seems to favor a cutthroat mentality. It would make sense that people who weren’t taught to be kind throughout their developmental periods are less likely to have kind children.
I think people tend to give humans more agency than they’re due. All anybody has to think with is their squishy lil critter brain, and there are a lot of factors that influence how those brains perceive/interact with the world
