A good way to get the feel of circular breathing is to blow bubbles into a glass of water with a straw. Keep the bubbles going even while you inhale. Then take the same concept over to the didj.
You'll get the hang of it, just keep trying.

I've been trying to learn the guitar for the past 6 months. I'll say that the guitar is much more difficult than the didj.
Once you figure out circular breathing and get a feeling for how your didj resonates, it's really easy to impress people. You get the air in the tube to resonate, and then create a rhythm through movements in your mouth, tongue, or diaphragm Think of it as the kazoo's big brother. Anyone can play the kazoo, right?
If you think that it's something that you will enjoy doing, I urge you to go for it. Don't let the fear of difficulty intimidate you. And, it's not a big investment; about $30 worth of parts from a hardware shop and an afternoon's worth of work can get you a great instrument.

Circular breathing isn't as hard as it sounds, just try it now.
Start blowing into the air, with your cheeks inflated, then when you run out of air, close your cheeks in real slowly, but still maintaining that flow of air, and breath in through your nose, whilst still getting rid of the air in your cheeks, then start blowing from the lungs again.
Cold silence has a tendancy to atrophy any sense of compassion
