Mushroom with Raw Honey - Will the enzymes break down the chitin?

I got most of it powdered, and I threw the rest in... Now I'm kind of regretting it, and I should have continued to grind/powder it in the coffee grinder.
Will the raw honey break down the chitin over time?

That's a very interesting question! Do you ask because the chiten makes you nauseous? One thing I will say is that I've had shroom honey that was almost 3 years old and it was at about 80% potency from the original batch. My friend said that left out in the open for 3 years they'd probably be completely non-active.

Nah. I made this for my mom to try out for microdosing in the morning.
Chitin has never given me issues. Tonight was my first experience without eating a banana, and it went fine. Normally I eat a banana for every gram or two that I take.

Very cool! So what is the issue with the chitin? I'm very curious as to the recipe you used and what sort of micro dose plan she's going to use dosage wise?

This is just a test batch. Just raw honey and mushroom powder.
I asked her how much honey would be good on toast, and she said "About a Tablespoon;" so, I just made about 1.33g of mush powder and poured it into 4oz of raw honey.
I was hoping to make sure honey really consistent in terms of dose without needing to be mixed; but, there's these chunky pieces. I was just hoping they would be dissolved down into a homogeneous mixture.
Basically, I just need to do a better job mixing in the coffee grinder next time. Waiting on a new grow before I make more.

I get it now. The best way to do that is to use a desiccant chamber with Damprid similar products to get them bone cracker dry and they will turn to powder much easier in a coffee grinder. Another option is just buying vegan gel tabs online which are not expensive and then loading up .1 or .2 or whatever per capsule. How much are you trying to have her take every day?

Yeah. They were cracker dry, and I use desiccants
0.1g-0.2g Dose came out to approx 0.16g

That's by no means the best way to dry at all.
And to answer your question, no the honey will not break the chitin down.
