Not probably. They're worried about coins and electronics.

I need to catch back up, but wanted to post an observation.
Ran my line again and it produced 1 pin at 3 months and then it triched out. Hindsights did better but took the same amount of time. Decent pinset but they aren't maturing fast enough. Now I see trich.
Previous runs I've smelt "trich" or whatever my common contam is. It never did contam out but smelled off.
My grains been fucked for a minute and I'm struggling everywhere. Slow is probably just user error
 sad pins on whole perimeter

Guys, what's the updated consensus about their average strength? I've already read the "Notes on growing Psilocybe subtropicalis, quotes collected from various threads and sources", but wanted to know if there's more "precise" info about their potency.
Would you say it's a x2 or x3 an average cube? I'm planning to harvest them late, I've read their potency increases with maturity.

Mine are the fast ones and Iβd say theyβre comparable to above average cubes.

I've got the slow ones and I'd say they are about 4x stronger than the average cube.

Fast ones could be 4-5x the average Cube potency. The slow ones from Ambrose could easily be 10-15x if my one experience counts as any proof. But realistically closer to 6-10x.

I agree about the fast ones Adas. They gotta be at least 4 x stronger. I have my doubts whether normal cubes could even do what these did to me, and I donβt want to eat 10g to find out.

Damn, you guys gave me a range that goes from just above average cube to a crazy high multiplier! Haha Gotta be very careful with these. I didn't know about the fast and slow ones theory; I did some research, this is what I've found:

To me Adas summed it up best. I can't find it again but basically there appears to be 2 different lineages:
- Crazy slow to pin and potent as fuck - as in ~1 gram and you're at level 5.
- Fast to pin and less potent - as in ~2.8 gram and you're at level 5.
In order to know which one I do have, what would be the quantity of days from spawn to pins that differentiate the 2 lineages? Hoping that my jar doesn't stalls on me after the second shake.
I also wanted to thank Melgo again, for giving me the chance to try to join you guys. : )

Hey Mate! My pleasure really
To answer your question, fast ones = from spawn to pins ~14 days.
Also I'm not too sure about the fast vs slow lineage theory, as I've received prints from the slow lineage, and it wasn't slow for me at all. It behaved exactly like the fast one
I'm looking at my mailbox everyday, expecting couple more prints/dried grains of the slow lineage to put to work
And Angam's lineage will be ready to spawn next week. Another source will be put to the test soon...

I had a version that I thought was considered fast. It took 3 weeks from spawn to pin. I cloned a fruit from the biggest cluster and spawned the clone back on May 5th. I'm just now starting to get pins. I'm excited that they may be potent but it's too long of a wait. I'm going back to spore in hopes of a speedy one again.

I keep the pot covered with a plastic bag that has a few holes and I mist based on cap discoloration
