How long can one expect mushroom capsules to last?

I was thinking of growing some turkey tail and others alike for the benefits, i was thinking i could dehydrate, powder, and capsule them to not only make it easier for me to get down but keep for an extended period of time and maybe possibly sell to local shops. With this in mind when could i expect them to start to expire, what would be a good time frame from dehydration to expired.

If done right they should last a very long time. I dry mine and then within a week or so I grind them to a fine powder and put them in capsules. The capsules are nearly if not completely sealed from the air then I vacuum seal them in a mason jar that goes in the cool basement where no sunlight can get to them.

How fast can you swallow?
Seriously, degradation is greatly reduced when you protect them from moisture, UV/sunlight, oxygen and excessive temperatures.
I would recommend that mushrooms first be dried thoroughly before grinding, followed by homogenization by mixing of the entire lot for consistency. Then your ground goodies may be tamped into capsules and individually sealed for immediate use.
For longer term storage, the capsules should be protected from UV exposure by keeping them in a dark location or in an opaque bottle or other container. Further protection is effected by including food-safe moisture and oxygen absorber packets and/or by vacuum sealing the container. Capsulated organic products should be protected from excess temperatures (e.g. above 40°C). Cold storage at temperatures below ambient would further decrease the rate of degradation reactions, though this is typically unnecessary if the prior measures are employed. However, if capsules are stored at low temperature, care should be taken to protect them from condensation as they are warmed to room temperature prior to use.
So, if you store them cool & dry and protected from UV light and oxygen, they should retain their desired properties for a few years at minimum. Then enjoy as needed!

I store my mushroom powder in an opaque jar with desiccant and fill the jar with Argon. You can buy it on Amazon in an aerosol can for about $10.00. You could take a similar approach with capsules. This approach removes light, moisture and Oxygen. I can’t say how long they would last but I would think it’s a long time.

Not for a long time, that's for sure. Especially if we're talking about medicinals. If you're not growing them yourself then you should only get mushrooms and/or capsules fresh from the source as needed. Some things just weren't meant for shelf-life. . .

If cracker dry and proper storing, a very long time.

found this paper referenced by another shroomery poster on a different thread. can't remember who/ where.
it seems storage of dried fruits is better whole, at room temp, and in the dark. powdered fruits degrade quicker, according to my understanding of the study.

If you are a regular grower and don't have a outlet for you meds, proper storage is a must because your stash will grow. As mentioned above, you can save capsules for a long time when properly stored.
