Lions got a break with Kelce and Jones out for KC, not to mention the really bad drops from Toney.
That said, it was still on the road against the best QB on the planet. On national television. This is a game the Lions would normally lose 100% of the time. Goff was solid. Gibbs looks like a stud. St. Brown is a stud. Hutchinson is a stud. Gardner-Johnson is a stud. They have a really nice o-line. And when they get Jameson Williams back they'll have a game breaking deep threat to add to the game plan. And I really can't say enough about Dan Campbell.
I don't know if they will or not...their piss-poor history says they won't. But on paper they have the potential to make some real noise in the near future. Maybe even as early as this season.

Aaron Rodgers just got injured early in his first game with the jets. It will be a nightmare if he doesn't return soon and we're stuck with Wilson.

They're saying ruptured Achilles tendon, so stick a fork in him he's done.
On a much more important note, the Bears look like they lost the entire season in one week. All we wanted was to beat Green Bay twice; that was our Super Bowl. Instead we get beat bad at home, to Jordan Love. Our coach is an idiot, which we didn't realize last year because he did such a great job of losing all the games and winning first draft pick.

What a bummer for Rodgers and Jets fans. I was hyped for them I can't lie. I'm sure the Branch Covidians are rejoicing in their pettiness.
Couple years ago Niners had to play in that stadium and lost both Solomon Thomas and Nick Bosa for the season because of that damn artificial terf.

Oh man, poor Chub . Hate to see an amazing back like that go down in such fashion. I hope he recovers and can play again, but it’s hard to say with a repeat of that injury on the same knee.
CLE woes continue, and their QB is having his own issues

There aren't really words to describe how bad the Bears are. It was pretty good news this week when they fired the defensive coordinator after the FBI raided his house. It would have been better if it was the offensive coordinator or head coach.

They could have scored more. The regular season record is 72 points, and the Bears scored 73 in the Championship game around 100 years ago.
Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel elected to have them take a knee rather than kick a field goal as time ran out. He also took out the QB and star receiver early in the 4th quarter.
The Denver at Chicago matchup Sunday should determine who is the worst team in the league. The Broncos are favored by 3, probably because they got Sean Payton, who has job security even if he loses every game because his contract is in the 100 million dollar range.
Bears fans want our head coach and GM fired. Since the Broncos gave up a first and second pick to get Payton, besides all the picks they gave Seattle to get Russel Wilson, they should fire their GM as well.

Cowboys' 41 points allowed looks good on paper, but every opponent was tied for worst record in the league. 49'ers haven't a real tough schedule either, but took care of business every week and beat a couple 2 win teams. This is a statement game for whoever wins, but a S.F. loss still leaves them 4-1. A Dallas loss moves them down to 2nd tier and gets them called overhyped, yet again.

I actually don't think there is as much pressure on Dallas for this game as there might usually be. Dallas has a well built team, losing Diggs for the season is a big loss but I don't see any scenario where they aren't a top 8 team in the NFC and make the playoffs. San Fran is no joke, they will be the team to beat all season in the NFC, them and the Eagles.
The AFC is looking to be a repeat of last year with the Bills and Chiefs being the best teams there. I can't believe how bad the Bengals have looked. The Dolphins and Ravens could be trouble

I think the pressure is on Dallas because they already lost once to a bad team. The schedule makers didn't do them any favors. Roughly speaking, they've played 4 weak teams and will only get 4 more weak ones this season. Cowboys' games against Eagles will be their most important, and late season matters more than early. But right now approaching mid-season, the Cowboys are playing a very good team, and they haven't played a pretty good opponent since last year.
A 49'ers loss puts them no worse than tied for first. The one loss Seahawks have surprised, but with the Rams and Cardinals, S.F. should take the division. A Dallas loss probably puts them 2 games behind the Eagles. Not where you want to be in that division.

Record for most passes without an interception to start an NFL career. Texans have a bright future. Provided Stroud doesn't make the same mistakes Watson made.

Jake Moody misses the game winner and Niners lose.
Lesson of the day: Brock Purdy can't throw a wet football. Better hope for good weather in the playoffs.
This felt like a trap game all week. Good time to get an L out of the system, better than a divisional loss anyway.

By all reports howie is still tryin to cook before the trade deadline I'm waiting to hear how Eagles traded for PS2 for Maddox, a 3rd, and some peanuts. I'm kidding, but for real if Surtain is available I think giving up a haul to get him is worth it. That's some top 2 corner talent totally wasted on Denver. And he's got what 8 years of prime left before he's starting to battle with Father Time (he's undefeated I might add) let's have the dude compete. Denver is a shit show and corners don't sell tickets

Marshawn Lynch said Russ is a weirdo that doesn't talk to his teammates off the field, that has to effect the cohesion of the team. Or maybe it has nothing to do with anything.
Marshawn also said he "doesn't fuck with Pete Carrol" and Aaron Rodgers was the realist QB he played with (Cal).

You think Aaron Rodgers won't be 1st ballot?!?

...he's only got one win too.
Aaron Rodgers is an asshole because I'm in Chicago, but the touchdowns to interceptions ratio is absurdly good. He's gotta be first ballot. It even made sense to give him his 4th MVP when Brady had more yards and TDs.
Some media were saying Russel Wilson was already HOF years ago, but that looks less likely every week. Players get into the NFL HOF for different reasons. It's not like baseball's accumulated career statistics. Eli Manning will get in for two 4th quarter Superbowl comebacks against the Patriots. Anything's possible but Russel Wilson looks like he'll be as well known for later career failure as for early success. Does anybody get inducted with that pattern? Sean Peyton is under huge pressure too, with him and Wilson costing Denver so much money and draft picks. But Peyton has only sucked for one year, and won't get fired soon. He was supposed to be the perfect guy to fix Russel Wilson, and for now Wilson gets most of the blame. Peyton has to get rid of Wilson and develop a younger guy. Broncos already mortgaged their future too much to trade for a good QB, but maybe could trade up in the draft. Best strategy is lose as many games as possible, also not good for Wilson.

He pulled a Wentz is what he did.
He's playing himself out of canton at this point lol
Marshawn Lynch said Russ is a weirdo that doesn't talk to his teammates off the field, that has to effect the cohesion of the team. Or maybe it has nothing to do with anything.
Marshawn also said he "doesn't fuck with Pete Carrol" and Aaron Rodgers was the realist QB he played with (Cal).
Proof that Wilson is a fucking weirdo dweeb
Fucking have to go to youtube to watch
