Disclaimer: I did 0 fact check, sorry. The assumptions that i make might simply be wrong, as I base things on how I imagine it might work, not having properly informed myself. Also bit stoned.
First my oversimplified idea on what quantum mechanics is. Tt is generally about a binary state versus a non-binary state (quantum state). Things (particles, waves, other things?) are usually in the second. However we can only perceive the binary state, because by observing a particle/thing in a quantum state we take it out of said state, and it becomes binary (either this or that, here or there).Or thats atleast about as much I comprehend so far. Therefore our observations determine the state of what we observe. How I imagine this might happen is for example fotons hitting a particle. We need some transformation of information (energy, waves, fotons or things) of somekind to be able to make an observation, and that influences the thing we want to observe. Feel free to correct me. Anyway, suppose something alike is true, then I wonder about two things. Firstly, how does a photon influences a particle by us subsequently observing this photon. It travels from the particle to us, not from us to the particle. Why would us observing influence the photon before it even reaches us? The photon hits the particle, which reflects it and only then can we observe the particle. What if it is not our observation that determines the state, but what if its the state of the particle that determines whether we can see it at all. So its not our influence of observation. On contrary the state of the particle was independently determined already. And due to this predetermined state the particles influences photons in such a way it makes it possible for us to make an observation. It is the state of this particle that influences our observations. Not the other way around. What if a quantum state is actually a state of non-existence, and only when things come in to existence they start interacting with the environment. So it is not us that determine the state of a particle by observing it, but it is the particle independent from us assuming a state that is observable for us,
Again, my whole photon idea might be bs.I'm just thinking of how microscopes work, and how for observations some kind of transfer is needed, be it light or xrays or whatever. Be welcome to correct me.
