Did it look like that when you harvested it? If so it aborted.

Can you clone aborts? Defs looks like an abort to me too.
Im guessing if you clone an aborth that aborted due to genetics rather than condition, it would be a bad clone?

Picture for reference. It was fully intact and growing faster than all other pins with no sign of slowing down which is why I grabbed it for a clone. You really think the largest pin is an abort? Tub is a MSS spawn.

Even if so I'll still try and spawn a tub of abort-genetics for the lols... I mean research data

I agree with the other folks; looks like an abort.
However, according to legend, PE came about after an abort was used for a tissue culture. So perhaps all hope is not lost

That doesn't necessarily look to be aborting, that's why I asked if it was like that when it was harvested because it looked a lot darker and abort like in the earlier photos.
Elevato, I had a Puerto Rican Culture many years ago that threw out lots of very large aborts; most larger than your thumb and damn these mush were strong.

hey, you label your photos just like i do, cool. that guy just really strikes me as an aborted fruit, its the cap color. I mean take D's advice and then mine with a grain of salt, but I don't think there's any way to tell whether it will produce the same growth you observed from the original body unless you clone it out. That is to say, how to know the dominant causation really, environment of a stuck tub or just genetics. Any rate I don't see the harm in taking it out; i just did the same with a bunch of deadened cup pins from an aper "lineage" which aborted, though presumably from the restrictive environment of the sauce cups and likely not attributed to the genotype.

Yeah that looks nearly mature to me actually. Itβs a fairly common pheno in stuff with PE genetics, especially ess.
This was my most recent MMTP clone, came from a fruit that was well over 200g also Has the flared cap pheno
