Protocol 0, for Yeatster and anyone else interested.
I will be using it to take outside male plant cuttings for them to go inside, so I can do a more controlled pollen collection. Could be I take a couple from females too in order to make seeds and also to preserve a line or two. I might also choose to maintain a father, at least until I know what his progeny is like in relation to their mothers (in other words, what the male may contribute towards other mostly unrelated lines)

You guys ever have stuff that finishes super fast? Sherbreath is looking pretty done but no way I’m harvesting at 50 days. Hopefully it swells up over the next couple weeks.

I would still shoot for 9-10wks. Or 11wks but that's just how I like mine. I feel like they will still fatten in the rest of the time What's the frost look like?
Yeah I think I’ve only harvested before ten weeks once, prob 12 on average since I’m trying to go for a more well rounded high instead max thc potency. Haven’t checked with a loupe but it looks pretty clear still.
I’m gonna pop off one of the bowl size nugs for a sample soon and see how it is this early.

I noticed two sugar leaves looking like they are browning and dying. This plant is almost ready, but I wanted to give it another week. I lost one top bud on a different plant I let go maybe too long to rot mold and now I'm paranoid.
What do y'all think... Should I harvest?

When ever I see some dead leaves poking out of a bud looking like that I instantly think caterpillars.
And 90%+ of the time, for me/IME, that's what it is.
And about 50% of the time, again for myself/IME, there is rot inside the bud where the dead leaves are. Sometimes the outside of a bud can still look alive/healthy even when a caterpillar as been eating/shitting inside and catalyzing rot.
I have pulled out a chunk of caterpillar induced rot on a cola before and let the cola/buds continue to ripen up.
You could totally have something else going on, but if I saw that on my plants/buds I'd think caterpillars.

Flavor burst #7 - week 3 flower
Amazing veg vigor growth. Topped once and did not do LST. No issues at all. VERY resilient. Handled all high temps and high humidity conditions. Defoliated multiple times before and after flipping to flower but did not slow growth at all nor did it show any signs of stress. Stems are very sturdy. Doesn’t flop despite being sooo tall and that’s thanks to a new product I added to this grow. ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE silica… Week 3 of flower and I already see numerous bud sites. These stretched very high up and ABSOLUTELY STACKS. Tight bud spacing. I’d imagine once it gets bigger, it will be one huge baseball bat and you won’t even see the stem lol

Caterpillars, bad weather, or simply some older flowers dying down, but either way, check it out, pull the brown stuff, and decide from there. Anything indicating it's not just old flowers dying down is reason for harvest. And even old flowers dying down is a good indication for harvest time, but I've seen it be limited to one or a couple flowers and in that case they can go a little longer. Not much though.
Safe bet? HARVEST!

Thanks for the comments!
Weather has been brutal. We got like 4 inches of rain in two massive storms back to back and now it's 90f+ which is not helping.
I'm going to see how it is tomorrow morning and harvest that bud if it looks to be getting worse. Of course it has to be the giant trophy bud!
I've been spraying bt. I did see some tiny inch worm like caterpillars still. The security camera has night vision and I can see bugs flying around...

I decided to take half of the top bud off. I yanked out those leaves and then spread the bud apart with tweezers, it looked brown in there. I probably could surgically removed that section but a pop up storm was about to unleash again.
I guess I caught it pretty early before the entire bud rotted out. Should be far enough along to be good smoke besides throwing out the brown spot.

Well, poop.
I'm moving into a living situation where growing is just not possible. Making some sacrifices in order to save up enough to get some land, or at least get up north. I'm gifting a lot of plants I currently have growing to friends to finish out. I'm honestly more sore about losing my carnivorous plants and berry bushes than the pot
Anyway, I'll probably be in here a lot less. I'm finishing out the seed run on my autos and then I'm done for at least a year.
Probably be better for me to have less access to weed, if we're being honest.

I'd 2nd the caterpillar idea, especially after seeing the pic. Late in flower, I use BT at least twice a week and still get damage. This year, maybe I'll switch to every other day and see how that does.
