Best liquid culture commercial strains you’re using currently?

Moving on soon from a “reputable” company that sells commercial strain oysters.. well they aren’t really the best oysters in my opinion, I’ve had Etsy cultures that were better than these.

What liquid culture do you use for your commercial operations? Looking for answers from commercial operation’s point of view, not the average hobby grower.

I've never found one. Mycelium emporium is supposed to be one of the best and I've never gotten a culture from them I was super impressed with. I think a lot of these vendors overlook the importance of long term culture storage and their genetics degrade over time. That's just a hunch.

I don't use liquid culture anyway. I have to pay my bills with these mushrooms and just don't have enough faith in them. I can't afford contamination

If you want good genetics maine cap n stem can't be beat. Their po-cns blue oyster is the best oyster culture on the planet besides maybe their Italian oyster. They have a couple of banger lions mane strains as well. HE-CNS and HE-POW are both great. Field and forest has some good stuff as well. I love their lions mane strain and their yellow oysters. Neither of these companies sell liquid cultures

I’ll check it out I also heard that southwest mushrooms cultures are excellent, perhaps I’ll try some reputable places like the one you suggested. I seldom work with agar so I hope I don’t fuck up the batch I order! Lol.

Agar is harder to fuck up than lc imo.

I'm just a hobby grower but even I wouldn't buy LC and not test it on agar.

Also IMO, I can't see why ANYONE would even consider commercial production and not do their own agar and LC work.

I definitely test on agar and do LC work. Just not agar too often. Just looking to find a reputable source of good genetics and if I have to do agar work to get that, it won't be my first rodeo.
