Hey I saw that in the market place joshua had a summer pic contest going so I thought it would be cool to have a thread where us photo geeks post pictures. So any pics you have and want to show off post for all to see. If it is of nature say where it is so we can all go and enjoy. Well lets see how this works...
The first to are from glacier national park

The Sand Mandala pic is amazing I wish I could have seen them when they came to my town sadly I was gone that weekend. Well I figure I will make it up when I go to Dharamsala. The thunder pics are great too.
Here is another pic from Mountana during the fires last summer.

Here are few pics of some baby skunks who live in my backyard.
Wish I could get a shot of the mother. She is albino but she only comes out at night.

those are nice pics of lightning.  it takes some skill and reflex to get a good shot of lightning....

fujisawa, that's a beautiful valley.  where is glacier national park?

dannyt, does water usually flow down that rock in the forest-y type picture?

skunks are cool.  i've never seen an albino skunk. you should try to get a shot of her!

yup, just about every beach is covered in rocks. well, its sorta a mix between rocks and sand, but rocks make up a better part of all the beaches. and no, that pier isnt even close to being deep enough to jump off of + that area is always swarming with coppers anyways.

Yeah, there's a swamp area near it where the water flows down the creeks and whatnot there. I haven't had a chance to get back out there, thanks to my friends and I's work schedules hating on us.

oh, and...
