Hello folks, I've been growing for a while but still kind of newbish.. so my question is, what is h2o2 for concerning cakes, where I can get it, and what is it sold in. Anything that helps me out a little will be much appriciated. Thanks

Ah.. ok so how would you apply this to a cake, and this helps to prevent contams?

It is used in dilute proportions to dunk cakes for re-hydration ,as well as for misting while in the fruiting chamber. It will kill may kinds of mold spores and bacterial endospores but not all of them. The ratio that most people use is 1/10 hydrogen peroxide to water for both dunking and misting.

Once the cakes are pinning you should avoid direclty spraying them as it will cause more aborts than usual. Just spray the walls of the chamber at this point.

You can get it in drugstore, I have 3% Hydrogenium peroxydatum from it. It is used to gargle, and disinfect wounds.
