if you added 100% colonized cake, you should have growth by now. im not sure what the problem is but there is deffinately a problem. ive never worked with millet so im no help.

Well, since the chunks already in there, this may not help much....

but you could make mycelium water with that chunk....either using an improvised Eberbach (autoclavable blender/quart jar)
or putting in in a quart jar with some chunks of small metal objects and shaking the crap out of it to rip up and evenly distribute the mycelium...then inject into birdseed jars..taking into account water content of the jars.

Or just start from a syringe.
