Do my jars have bacterial contam?
    #28395843 - 07/14/23 09:21 PM (1 year, 6 months ago)

These were sitting in 70-75 degrees then I moved them to about 80 degrees. Condensation from temp change occurred. They had been sitting growing for about 4 weeks and just now shook them up and found it difficult to uncluster them all.

So I have bacterial contamination? Here's pics before the shake. I know I'll know more in a day or two if they mycelium starts to regroup.

There is an excessive amount of moisture in there. It's hard to see if the grain is still pressed against the jar but the running myc on the second picture leads me to believe there is a slight bacterial problem. I'd still send it to a shoe box if it recovers from the shake, or top fruit it.

:whathesaid:

Not bad, but slightly bacterial presence.
Worth spawning for sure.
What´s your lids filtering?
Whatever, if there´s a lid on, you don´t need foil.
You need some gas exchange.
