First time. Do these grains look burned or still good to use?

Do they look burned or still good? They turned darker after pressure cooking.
(You can compare to the Jar I haven't sterilized yet that's a lighter color on the left side of the picture)

I soaked them for 24 hours... had a little mis-hap with my jars not being cured... so i... nevermind....

Ended up boiling them till I had only a couple burst...
Let them dry, jarred them up and pressure cooked as best I could in instant pot... jars are too big so I took advice that you put a little extra water in the bottom to compensate for no bottom rack... yes I may go with a smaller size jar or try to find a flat silicone mat for the bottom of it... 

Anyway the point... do they still look viable and I can go ahead and inoculate with LC??? Or should I try again with the other grains? I don't wanna waste my LC.
