I got a first flush of Italian oyster but the second flush looks so weird, what have I done? First some pics:
First flush

2nd flush looking weird, 3 days after harvesting the first flush.

Now here's what happened so far: I colonized italian oyster liquid culture in grain (barley) and gypsum, it was beautiful and white and fully colonized when I mixed it into CVG in a mycobag. When that looked fully colonized I opened the top, fanned some air into it, squeezed the air out, folded the bag around under, and cut a "Z" slit, put it in a martha type tent. RH is controlled with a cool mister at the bottom, comes on at 80% and off at 90%. FAE controlled with a fan at the top of the tent, comes on 2-3 minutes each 30 to 35 minutes. Temp seems to stay in the mid to high 70s I don't control that other than the A/C in the room is usually set to 76-79.
I cut the first flush near the base rather than twist them out. Tiny pins were already there, I left them. The brick seems moist to me. So why do these look all spindly and weird, and what is all that yellow color? If I peek inside near the slit there is tiny tiny pins all smashed down.
These are my first oysters in this setup, I had gotten 3 flushes out of some PE a while back, although the substrate did dry out and I had to soak it once.
I'm pretty new to this, any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Those just look like aborts from the first flush to me. If that's the case, then i don't think you did anything wrong.

Well good then! Thanks! Should I pick/cut them off? Then start a new slit or just wait for new ones to come out this one?
