Initiating 2nd flush advice

I haven't found this exact situation through the search so I'm throwing it out here to get opinions or experiences. I have some very successful all-in-one bag> foil over perlite in tubs that I've let continually fruit for a few weeks picking mature fruits daily and allowing pins to grow up to be picked when ready. This has worked well but things are slowing down naturally. I'm wondering if I should move the cakes to a clean tub with lots of FAE and low to no humidity to dry out for a few days then soak and then put them back into the foil over perlite tubs? Seems reasonable to me but if anyone has direct experience or suggestions, I'm all ears!

Literally like daily threads on this search function must be ass.
Dunk it or heavy mist it until it stops absorbing moisture.

drying them out seems like a really bad idea, but nobody is stopping you from experimenting
I think of the human body. To absorb a maximum amount of moisture & nutrients, I would need to constantly eat and drink the whole day. If I starved myself for a long time before eating, then I wont be able to absorb more nutrients than before. the opposite actually happens. When you eat after being starved, you have to eat verly slowly and you can barely eat any food at all. The starvation actually caused you to lose more nutrients even after eating. This is why I think it would be a bad idea to dry out the cakes. I imagine the cakes just being really stressed out and sick while drying.
If you wanna give the mushrooms a maximum amount of moisture, look up "bottom watering." You basically stick your cake inside a bowl of water and you just dump out the water when it stops absorbing more. Just to clarify, this is done AFTER dunking as well. Bottom watering has given me the biggest fruits ive ever seen. Literally. I wish I would have taken pictures. Ive gotten fruits that were multiple pounds heavy, even outweighing the amount of substrate used somehow

You can consider using a water tub setup for future grows.

โEvey Hammond: Who are you?
V: Who? Who is but the form following the function of what and what I am is a man in a mask.
Evey Hammond: Well I can see that.
V: Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he isโ

I really love this analogy, easy to relate to it. I'll give it the dunk then bottom water treatment and let you know how it goes
