Pleasing Fungus Beetles - Tips Wanted

Hey All,
I'm new to growing, and I recently had a big infestation of pleasing fungus beetles. For some background, I'm growing pink, Italian, blue, and golden oysters in 5 gallon buckets. They colonized in my garage, and I moved them outside for fruiting. I'm growing in southern Maine.
I was wondering if anybody had any tips/tricks for dealing with them. I want to start prepping for another grow, but I don't know what to do differently to prevent another infestation.
Is there a spray I should be using? Is there something I should do to treat the area where I put the buckets down? I just don't know what I don't know, and I'm looking for some pointers.

I bought some Drosera (Sundew). They help me to get rid of the gnats.

Edit: Oops, i missed the beetles part.
Maybe they work for beetles too? Or other carnivorous plants like Nepenthes or Dionaea muscipula?

Diatomaceous earth might help, it can be used as an additive to grain spawn, its sharp structures eviscerate the chitin of insects.

Oh, interesting. I hadn't heard of putting DE in the grain spawn.
Is that a frequent source of fungus beetles? I got the spawn from North Spore

I would think about enclosing the grow buckets in something to keep the bugs out... Maybe use a roll of screen door material to make something.
Or, get a big mosquito net, like you'd hang over your sleeping bag when camping, and secure them in there.

your carnivorous plants are causing more gnats unless you are using bti in your water, those plants attract and bred more gnats than they kill and eat. ive been growing them for almost a decade at this point. your best bet for gnats and flying insects is sticky strips or a layer of sand to block them from burrowing.
