Hey check this thing out:

It's a manual vacuum sealer (remeber those old bicycle pumps?), it also lets you seal pretty much any airtight container (ie: mason jars) the price is right ($20) and if the info on the site is at all truthful this seems like a pretty good investment. Has anyone ever tried one of these thing or heard how they preform?

That is definatly cheeper than the one i was looking at. Does look like a good investiment. Thanks for the info.

n/p. If you end up picking one up let me know how well it works.. I am considering getting one myself but I still have quite a while to go before I need to get drying done. *sigh*
