contam or normal texture/color variation?

Hey, first time fruiting after a few false starts making spawn. There's some definite variation in color and texture among the fruits in the tub, ranging from little white spots on the caps (which looks like examples I've seen of mycelium on the caps, harmless but maybe too much humidity), darkened cracked caps (apparently either not enough humidity or maybe some kind of contamination?), some kind of shaggier or fluffier texture on the lower parts of some stems with some discoloration that seems like it could be mycelial bruising (remember I have no experience, just some searching through online resources), and maybe a couple deformed ones. It's been pretty warm the last few days (80-85F in the room), and I have a couple fans circulating air for me as much as anything, so the casing dries out pretty quick; I work from home and have been misting pretty regularly. I've also got anxiety, and figure I am likely worried about nothing, but also that it couldn't hurt to ask.
The cut stem is from a big one that had dropped its veil already, which I harvested to make a print.

Not seeing the slightest sign of mycelium on the surface means it is too dry for a very long time or dry AF so to say. I would give it a heavy mist till water starts pooling on the surface, let it sink in and repeat after an hour.
The fans are drying out your tub, either switch them off or keep the tub in another room. Is this an unmodified mono?
Edit: ah wait, could be one of those max-yield mono

Your substrate looks bone dry and your caps are bruiseed & cracked from the excess dry air - reduce the amount of air making it into your tub.

Thanks for the responses! More mist and less fans is easy enough to do. But am I hearing right then that this kind of discoloration isn't likely to be contamination that I have to worry about as a safety issue down the line?
It sounds like I was both not misting enough and maybe shouldn't have been offsetting the lid (something I had seen mentioned for fruiting to encourage more FAE--but seems to have been too much? there are little holes down by the substrate that I took micropore tape off when I started seeing fruiting, so probably I should just leave the lid on and let those be all the FAE). I appreciate the tips!
And yeah, it's a max yield mono. It was a gift from a friend who decided this wasn't a project they wanted to deal with rn.

If the tub has holes then definitely leave the lid on and give the tub a really, really, really good mist. The fans should be turned off ideally.
I don't see anything wrong with the fruits that have grown so far and should be absolutely fine to consume.....since you are concerned about this I have to tell you that a bit of gastric discomfort is totally normal when taking mushrooms, it's not always the case but if you experience some on your come up then this is nothing to be concerned about. Making a tea with your fruits can reduce the nauseous feeling.

Oh, I appreciate the concern, but I've taken them plenty of times, just never grown them. And yeah, I've gotten the lid on and given them plenty of water--they've really exploded, just over the course of the day, so it seems clear that was the issue. The new growth also doesn't seem to have the cracking and discoloration, which is encouraging.
Really appreciate the advice!

All good then, would be nice to see a photo once they are ready to harvest.

Ah sorry I don't have notifications for replies here so I missed this--I'm not sure I'm harvesting them correctly (wrt timing and cutting them), but I already got basically all of the first flush. With the ones that are currently drying, it'll probably be just under 60g, which it sounds like is not a great yield for a tub of this size (but to be clear is the largest quantity of shrooms I've ever seen in one place in person, lol). There are plenty of little ones sprouting up already, so I'm not sure what to do? I've heard people soak for 6-8 hours before a second flush, but would that not be a problem for the stuff already growing? Here are some pictures I did take, in any case! The first is the day after harvesting the first ones to open/flatten out (I know the sub is dry, I gave it a bunch of water after taking this picture), but before I harvested the next ones, and the second picture is a cute pair of twins(?).
