LC for inoculation of bags…

So I started to expand a bunch of LC from some LC syringes I had. My goal is to be able to inoculate a good amount of sterilized bags with sterilized grain and supplemented sub. It’s been 2 weeks and the grow has been pretty minimal. My recipe for the LC jars was just Karo corn syrup, but I’m starting to think if I want thick plentiful LC for what I’m trying to do I might need a different more dialed LC recipe. I’m sure the karo works for preservation in LC or whatever, but I’m hoping to get thicker and richer mycelium in my LC jars as fast as possible.
What kind of additives can be supplemented into an LC recipe for optimal growth?

I’m curious why people don’t use larger jars or containers for LC, seems like if your going through the trouble of testing each jar on agar might be better to do a larger jar so you know that you have a good amount of supply that isn’t contaminated?

I guess it is a balancing act because every time you access the jar of LC, there is a risk of contaminating it. But I agree, doing a tiny amount seems silly.
I do 600 mL in quart jars. Better to have too much than not enough, it's not like it costs a lot to make.

People do and a lot of them are total noobs thinking doing a lot and keeping it in the fridge to use it over and over for multiple spawn inoculations is a good idea. Taylor the amount to your needs, make enough to use up during one knock up session and use a new batch for the next run. I personally wouldn't trust an LC I have already used and poked with a needle or partially poured and put away for a while without testing it again....not if I am about to knock up a shitload of grain.
Use grain water or LME. That usually makes for nice colonization. LME @ 0.5-0.1% works like a charm for me.
How did you inoculate? Is it too risky to post photos of your culture and or your LC?

I figured that was the reason, my plan would be to knock up a shit ton all at once, and if I’m using a bunch of small jars it doesn’t make sense to test each one before use. I would either aspirate into a bunch of clean fresh syringes or get one of those metal long needles that you can attach each syringes to and do it that way. Then I was gona inject each bag with 5-10ccs. I haven’t done this before since I’ve always done G2G without issue, but I’m attempting large bags and would rather do this then G2G with bags in front of a flow hood or SAB. I’ll try to post some pics but LC is hard to photograph.
Also, do people normally continue isolating LC even if it’s from a reputable company? Like when you get a LC syringe is it typically from spores prior or is it usually from a tried and true culture? And even if it is do people still isolate it further?
Thanks
