How to slow down growth

Ok so I will be going away just one night. Saturday morning I am leaving very early and will be back Sunday night. I’m doing a mono tub btw
1. I can see my second flush starting to pin now so I’m hoping it’s ready before I go but if it’s not can I slow it down by putting it in the cold(refrigerater)? Or would that damage it? 2. My basement is pretty cold, like 65, so maybe that would be better? Right now they are in 75 degrees upstairs
3. Also, if I mess up the timing, does the spores really inhibit future flushes that much? Because I’ve had a few that started to sporulate and I was able to get a good amount of flushes after
4. Is it possible to pick them too early? I usually wait untill I see the veil turning into a cone shape and the caps turn yellowish( golden teachers)
Thanks

You can let spores drop, thats not a problem. Probably fine just putting it in a colder environment. Youll likely get denser fruits that way too

Cool thanks. Yeah I’ll see how far along they are. I’m getting better at estimating when they’ll be ready. I’d rather not put it in the fridge or basement. They are doing so good where they are.

I have a full canopy. It’s great but they grow so fast I don’t wanna come home with black all over the place. Some are ready some are not. Is bad to pick them too early?
I’ll just have to make a judgement call on which ones to leave I guess
