hello and happy mod ppl

just got a newbie question, i just harvest the 3 flush of shrooms of my first time grower shoebox, i got an amazing first time experience, the shoebox dont show any sign of contamination and the shroom were big and healty, i let the last flush to go fully grow they open the vein and fill the soil with a beautiful black color of the spores, i just got one to make a spore print, and let the others to release all the spores they can.

at this moment the shoebox looks clean and i was think to try to reuse this cake.

the question is: can i, mix the shoebox again with more coconut noir and start over again to see if the spores spawn again or im wasting my time?

Congrats on a successful first grow!
Once the myc has used all the nutrition from the grain spawn you won’t get any more subsequent flushes by adding more coir which is non nutritious, best bet is to start your next grow my friend.
Bury that spent sub in a nice spot outside and you might get another shroom or 2 though👍

There´s always even lots of nutrition left,
but the myc network gets tired right after a first heavy flush.
With stretching it further out with more substrate
you just call for contams and poor shrooms.
