You can draw, but I don't like it. If I would have to give it a number 10 is great 1 is horrible. I would give it a 3 1/2
Sorry.

I like the first one a lot, it's very interesting to look at. I really like the lines and the red 'clouds' behind the figure.
The second piece tho I'm not a big fan of.
Thanks for sharing!

i like the first one a lot, though the second one was not executed quite as well, looks like a lot less effort was put into it

Yea, that's something else I need to work on. I lose interest in peice's half way through them, and never finish them in one sitting. Then when I go back to them, I'm either in a different frame of mind, or just don't the motivation. I need to cut back on the reefer.

I love the first one, very abstract. The second one even though it isn't as artistic, it's very funny.

don't feel bad, i'm exactly the same. i hate returning to unfinished work, i always have a diffrent flow going and i never finish it right. and when you start to get lazy or burnt on a piece, after working on it for a while, it really shows in the overall quality of the work....which can be very discouraging.
i like the first one a lot. but i'll admit, the second one isn't your best. however, i do like how the severed arms are holding up their weight with their fingers...very clever.

Nothing too deep; I perceived it as "just another" message of the cliched and hackneyed phrase, "things aren't always what they always seem to be." Clearly more can be attributed to it, as it is simple yet provocative. Edit: In my opinion, the best art lets the viewer's imagination run awry. Once something is implied, even remotely, then the artwork loses much of its credibility. The title of a work is just as important as the content itself. The first picture is capable of having great potential but because you named it, now, as a viewer, I see what you intended it to be, instead of letting it remain timeless.

Hey man (or woman, wasn't sure so I edited), don't fret.. I suffer the same fate, and there ARE ways around this. The most important thing to remember is that you can take that new frame of mind and use it to your advantage. It's easy to get discouraged when you come back to a piece and can't seem to keep the flow that you had before going.. but the key is DON'T FIGHT IT.. go with the new flow, and figure out ways to slightly modify what you've already done (in the previous state of mind) so that it blends with it. I know, it's so cliche and you always hear this kind of thing, but it really is all about going with the flow and not fighting it. Think about it this way: When you create art, you are a vehicle for the art to be conveyed through. Don't make the art, allow the art to be made through you. When you make some obscure line that you didn't mean to make, don't erase it right away.. look at it for a minute and see if it isn't a hint at where your drawing should be going. This is my 2c on the subject. P.S. I like the first one, but agree that you shouldn't have given away the concept.. I liked the idea of them being red clouds in the background a lot more than brains. And the second one is definitely lacking in traditional artistic merit, but I still like it in a "weird, twisted, radiohead" kind of way.
