Your shrooms are not healthy....that is why they dried all skinny and only came out to 3g.

What substrate did you use? I would venture a guess to say that it was not very nutritious....try grain or dung next time, and keep airflow exchange high....and your shrooms will be healthy and robust.

By "not healthy", do you mean that they are bad to eat?
I used PF tek.

Oh no, they are wonderful for eating :)

Im referring to the grainy quality of the stems and that when they dried, they were so thin and insubstantial. My first run was with pf tek...equadors,and achieved great results, like 10 huge shrooms from just one cake....

but the same thing happened...when they dried, they lost almost all their mass...this just means that they are mostly water weight, and not robust and fleshy.

They're still great to eat though....have fun.
