Gradual success with bulk

Been a little bit! I lost three tubs to trich, two of them before I could even get a first flush. I was getting ready to start from scratch as I had been going g2g for all the bulk. I haven't had a single jar from g2g show signs of contam.
I had done over 30 jars and I left the rest alone to colonize, so when I went to make three more tubs they were definitely fully colonized. How long do you guys usually wait after the jar shows full colonization on the outside before attempting spawn? I'm guessing that with the longer time I allowed the jars to colonize the myc had time to fully colonize and maybe I had just been too quick to spawn, which caused the trich.
Right now tub one which was spawned maybe three weeks ago is rough but it's producing. First spawn was very localized, in this picture you will see how discolored some of the myc is. This must be bacterial contam? I also think I mixed my coir too wet on this. Honestly this tub is a complete mess and any input would be appreciated. Please don't say add a casing layer. This is second spawn and I bottom watered it which made the fruits much bigger. This is the second flush, I may or may not attempt a third, you guys tell me if it's worth it.

I'm using straight oats with straight coir btw, 6 qts to 1 brick of spawn in a 54 using bods unmodified tub
Here are the two I spawned that had jars sitting the longest. I made much drier coir this time, and I came back to see a MUCH better pinset than any of the tubs I've had before.

Please let me know what you think of these surface conditions too.
I will update this post and here's hoping these two new tubs are

I shake at about 20-30%. When the outer is fully colonized, i spawn.

Most likely yes. Also due to the looks of the shrooms.

I always apply a little top layer of pure coir. Gets a good mist and done. The surface regulates itself, after mycelium peeps through you can compare your surface moisture here.
You´ll get some nice clusters from the last three pics
