Good monotub pinsets, all aborted/mutated. What next?

Hi,
I've previously done around 50 monotubs and had my technique down, but this is my first grow in 5 years and I'm now in a very different environment.
The 3 tubs I prep'd using MS Golden Teacher, innoc'd to mycobags then spawned to Damion's Simple Core tek at a ratio of ~2:1 (coir:spawn). Coir seemed at accurate field capacity.
All 3 tubs developed as expected and produced pretty good pinsets. Then everything aborted or mutated. Disappointing...
I used my usual approach of semi-loose polyfill and a fan nearby but not directly pointed at the tubs, and daily misting if I considered it necessary. FAE should have been more than sufficient. Only thing I can think of is that the surface was too wet.
I've never had this happen before, so my question is what is the best approach to take now so that I can hopefully get a decent second flush? Just remove the aborts (I usually do so with a scalpel) and wait for a second flush? Should I consider dunking? (figured this was unnecessary since they should have lost minimal water due to such a small volume of fruits). Anything else I should consider?
 Thanks

Sorry that happened, I hate when a good pinset fails. It’s hard to tell from the pictures, but they look like they dried up a little prematurely. Definitely stop running the fan, that’s no longer deemed necessary for passive fae. The fan usually does more harm than good. If your tub is still heavy, it’s probably still fully hydrated, no dunking would be necessary at this point. Get back to basics, keep it covered and keep up those surface conditions, you should see new pins in a week or so. And watch how much you mist, too much moisture on the mushrooms can also cause aborts.

Thanks for the reply!
Really, you think the fan is excessive? The surface looks drier now because I stopped misting several days ago when I realized pins were aborting (assuming too much surface moisture was the problem).
I'm right in thinking that the only problem with "too much" FAE would be that you risk dropping relative humidity and drying out, right?

Maybe your syringe direct to grains can be the issue. Better do agar first and make LI to inoculate. I don´t think conditions are a vector here. The fan won´t harm if it´s pointed away from the tubs, but yeah, surface moisture is important. If you haven´t seen yet, look here.

Thanks 👍 Actually I misspoke, I used an MS syringe to prep an LC. Not that this changes your suggestion..
I was thinking genetics since it happened to all 3 tubs and the fact I'm fairly experienced and have never had this before. But I didn't want to blame the print I received, and wanted to hope I could still get a decent second flush 😕
You wouldn't have a spare print you could provide a fella trying to get back on his feet? 😛
