Contamination?

What are your thoughts about this?
I was gonna spawn to bulk tomorrow so I haven't smell checked it yet. Is it a case of tormentose growth? Should I just throw it away in my garden?

Seems hard to tell in that picture. Doesn’t really look 100% yet though. Let it get to 100% then give it a good smell if it smells like mushrooms then use it!

A smell check can only tell you that something's really off. It can't confirm that it's good. We'll need better pics of your spawn to properly advise you.

V: Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is”

I took more than a dozen photos but couldn't get it right... Does this look better than the previous ones at least?
At first sight this looks like mold to me . I inoculated this jar 3 weeks ago with an agar plate I used to test a liquid culture I made. I didn't transfer to another plate, just straight up used that one and I think that it might have had a non visibile contaminaton on it.
I might add that this LC I made is from multispore, could that be why that it's not all uniform mycelium?
I said I would smell check before spawning but I read a dude's story that he went to ER after smelling a badly contaminated jar lol. Not even gonna try. I had a jar go bacterial and I was stupid enough to smell it. Luckily I am fine but I am not risking again.
I would also appreciate some suggestions on how to get a decent photo. Apparently I am not capable of taking a decent one

By the looks of it i wouldn´t spawn to bulk, maybe top fruit Shake that bitch up and look for recovery. Last pic doesn´t look promising though. For pics shoot the whole jar, no zooming, nothing.

By "top fruit" You mean opening the jar and letting it fruit on its own?

Open it up and throw some coir ontop, usually i think its okay to spawn slightly bacterial spawn, but i think this one is a bit too far gone.

Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate the answers, even if I failed I am happy to learn something new
Anyway. I took another picture: https://files.shroomery.org/files/23-26/805135038-16880511475425187839211231450388.jpg

Something's wrong with it, at 3 weeks a "normal" bacterial jar would have been a solid block of white.
Do you see little white spots on the uncolonized grains?

You put spores into LC broth and let it grow? That could be it. Spore syringes are collected from open air, thus should be treated as contaminated. Keep them for PF cakes, or grow them out on agar before putting it in grain jars.

IIRC this was a guy who sniffed a load of Fusarium spores (ie. pink lipstick mold), so odds are you'd be able to see it without having to sniff it to know something's wrong. But I'd rather take most of the guesswork out by reviewing the clean spawn checklist.

No the little white spots are just a bacterial sign for when your shit is really really not getting along.
I don't know man, it's up to you. You could just shoebox it and see what happens. Or top fruit it. Or toss it, depends how much you want to fuck around and find out.

The spores were from a spore vial purchased at Mondo Spores. In my experience they are pretty reliable, I used dozens and had a single contamination that I don't even think it was from the vial but from my poor procedure.
I think the LC is pretty clean, it looks white and it's transparent (I know it might still be contaminated because LCs are like this) To inoculate the oats I tested it before on agar and used those plates. Those plates didn't show any visible sign of contamination. But now I think the procedure must've been botched and so I got an unwanted intruder in my grow
I might just as well try to fuck around a little to find out. I'll be sure to do it in a separate area of my grow. I have other jars going and those look pretty fine. I might add some photos of those to this thread, tomorrow maybe.
