What is a good price for petri dishes? Some other brief questions about them too

Looking to slowly start buying the bits I need to start learning agar, grain spawns and then bulk substrate in that order. Was just wondering what type (glass/plastic/reuseable/disposable) I should be looking to buy. Is there anything else spec wise I should be looking for or avoiding?
Lastly how much should each one, packs of 10 and then for a hundred so I can get an idea of what is a good deal and isnt. in £ ideally
Another thing what are those elastic almost selotape looking things that you strech around the edge of dish to seal/store it? Same question for those is there a type good for longer term sealing/storage and what price should I be looking at?
Thanks

You need to know if you want to do pour or no pour. So either you want plastic petris (not reusable, not for sterilizing) or PP cups (vice versa). I always order a pack of 24 sleeves a 20 petri dishes for about 40€, so ~ 35 GBP, they last a good time.
I guess you mean Parafilm for wrapping, but it isn´t meant for long term storage. If you get easy hands on it then use it (as it´s not cheap), but most of us use cling wrap or grafting tape.

With "Nocken" the lid is slightly raised for better gas exchange. Not necessary for me though. With or without shouldn´t matter.

Here's why I wouldn't order dishes from the zon. They always come to me cracked, with compromised stacks that have holes in the sleeve they were packed in meaning they're contaminated. I have go through their return process and have them replaced so I simply quit buying from the zon. Now I go through celltreat and get their 500 100mm plates for like $140. I now do less shipping and have way less damage on each order compared to the zon. Cell Treat

I’ve purchased 500ct dishes twice from southern lab ware @ less than $100 a case plush shipping. No issues at all with cracked or open sleeves. Packaged very nicely. I am in the US and it’s a US based company so that prob won’t help out the OP.

Got it, it's vented. The little tabs under the lid. Yeah not sure if it makes a difference either, I remember searching the forum for info some time ago but couldn't really find any definitive info regarding GE. I guess maybe it helps for plins?
