How goes it?
Have been journaling my 2nd attempt at mushroom growing. While doing weekend check, notice that mushroom pins have developed. Shown below

Briefly read over some of the early pinning post, advice seems to be 1) bacteria, start over or 2) birth, scrape away uncolonized areas of substrate, continue fruiting. Currently using Bod's Easy AF cheapest way to get started TEK just wanted to know if anyone using this method has encountered early pinning and how you handled it?
Think I will birth and scrape off now then proceed with the fruiting process during this time I will order dehydrator and more verm to begin the colonization for the tidal wave mushrooms.
Appreciate any constructive guidance. stay safe, stay hydrated.

Update
Birthed all cakes, rinsed off verm and uncolonized areas of cake, placed cakes back in jars, and added fresh verm. Wrapped the jars in foil to reduce further side pinning. Misted over, not directly, each jar with 3 spritz of water (going forward 1-2 spritz a day or as needed.) Lastly, added sandwich baggies over jars.
Current development photos

(Note to self: note these post in physical mushroom journal)
