What would happen if your mycelium completely colonized the substrate and is ready to send but you then put it in a box....

What would happen if your mycelium completely colonized the substrate successfully and ready for fruiting but you then instead put it in a box with no holes for about 5-6 days, would the mycelium suffer and die?  Or will it go into some kind of hibernation and wait until you give it FAE so that it will continue it’s cycle?

Btw not asking for a solution like just poke some holes, i really just want to know

I went to visit my grandpa today and on the TV the news was reporting on how over 75 people died of asphyxiation on the back of a truck when illegally crossing the border; so i then wondered if mycelium could die if deprived of oxygen and how many days until it suffocated?

Sounds like you're giving your tub a massive pair of blue balls.

That's probably where sclerotia are coming from.

Perhaps I didn’t explain my question thoroughly, I don’t think you understand
