Stopped Cannabis use, any apatite enhancers? 1

Hello team, I'll keep the intro short, So I was diagnosed with ADHD around age 7. tried many different prescriptions to manage ADHD and more prescriptions to manage the side effects of ADHD medications. It was always a struggle to eat because of that. I often ate only 1 meal or a few snacks throughout the day. Age 14, tried cannabis, abandoned all my prescriptions, and used cannabis to medicate instead.
So I stopped smoking cannabis yesterday in order to get re-tested for ADHD now that I'm an adult. I have temporarily quit smoking cannabis for different reasons and different lengths of time in the past. But every time I stop smoking it becomes very difficult to eat, not just for the first few days, but forever. My body needs food but my brain is not giving me hunger signals. I force myself to eat but often can't get enough food in to make a huge difference. This wouldn't worry me too much but lack of food/nutrition is a trigger for my epilepsy.
It seems my whole life eating food has been difficult even when I am medicating with cannabis, although it does make it much easier. Does anybody know of any non-prescribed apatite stimulates? I went to Dr. to ask for an apatite stimulant, and they said "We have a slew of apatite suppressants, but very few choices for apatite stimulants. The apatite stimulants we do have are only prescribed to people with severe eating disorders or severely sick people like chemo-patients."
Not sure if that's the good ol' American healthcare system policy or a broader healthcare policy in general. Anyway if anybody has any recommendations on how to increase my appetite for food that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Everyone!

Not really what you're going for, but you could try switching to a liquid meal replacement thing? It's surprisingly easy to drink 800 calories in glass, you just need it to be nutritionally balanced. I did that for a while, I tend to forget to eat.
https://www.completefoods.co/ might help?

I had my partner bring my Ninja blender back home the other day because I thought it would be easier to get my nutritional needs with smoodies. Also, that link seems like a great tool, thanks for the suggestions Kryptos.

You should eat cultured foods regularly. This is very likely related to a chronic digestive condition, and there is probably a dysbiosis in your gut. The hunger signals only happen when chemicals are released, created by the bacteria in the gut. So overgrowth or undergrowth can cause disorders of appetite.
Kombucha is excellent, if you like the taste. You can also try saurkraut, yogurt, buttermilk - or even raw butter which I've seen - kefir or kvass, kimchi, and there are many more. I don't recommend the probiotic pills, those made me sick while probiotic foods had the opposite effect and made me healthier.
It may be that what you are eating matters as much as the 'how'. What are your favorite foods? Is there a way you can cook more delicious meals?
Best to just not force yourself, really just eat when you're hungry. Forcing foods is not actually healthy. Better to wait until you can eat, and then when you can, eat nutrient dense foods - a lot of calories in a little time, so you can get plenty of your daily needs in.

I know of a great way of stimulating appetite, but you'll have to hear me out. Imagine going to the best grocery store in your county/city. Get the very best, most pristine ingredients for a dish you have NOT tried yet, but want to try. Be prepared to expend money and energy, and to return home to a prepared kitchen.
Once you return home, spend as much time in the kitchen as possible. Cook with excellence. Take in the aromas with enjoyment. The aromas will stimulate hunger in most instances, assuming you're not cooking sauerkraut or liver.
If possible, consider working with new herbs, new spices, new sauces, and new vegetables. Also consider preparing authentic Jamaican foods and Japanese foods.
It may also be helpful to develop your own personal cooking book, adding recipe failures and recipe successes. Another thing that works is to walk (or otherwise travel) to an area where barbecue restaurants are, and just take in the aromas for a minute or two. Even a few seconds should stimulate the appetite.
