They know they can't beat him again so they are simply going to throw him in prison. This is election interference on a truly unprecedented scale.
Welcome to fascism, it's here and it won't stop until every last American is on their knees and begging for mercy.
As it turns it out, it was the so-called "democratic left" that were the real fascists all along. Wow, who could have possibly known?
In any case, this will not end in the way that the so-called elites expect it will - with their absolute control over every aspect of society and of our lives. They are merely accelerating the destruction of the country, which at this point is assured to end up in a state of balkanization.
I say, let them do it. I was sick of this shit anyway

i feel like being so misinformed should cause you actual psyical pain.
im very curious, for science, what is it like having your head that far up your own ass?
- dear enlil, i dont actually think nor does anyone think chopstick has his head up his own ass, this is a figure of speach commonly used to discribe someone who is buying into their own propaganda to the point where they can no longer function... im saving you the trouble of asking because i know you have a hard time with this kind of thing and i hope this helps.

37 counts!
That's amazing. And yet, you hear no chants of "Lock Him Up". Maybe that's because what little class this country has left is concentrated on the left.

A prosecution of him, however, will do further harm to the nation. Balancing that with whatever benefits may or may not arise out of "justice" is the key here, and I just don't see the upside of a prosecution at this point.
I would be more comfortable with that argument if there was no chance for Trump to get elected. What if he wins and the right controls all branches of federal government. It can't be predicted but it could happen. Then we're at the, "they should have stopped Hitler at Munich" stage, but it will be too late to do anything about it.
The legal system, from criminal prosecutions to SCOTUS decisions are supposed to be based on principles, but often it's a political fight. Maybe the closest we can get to democracy is making it a fair fight, which represents more people's interests. But for about 45 years, the Dems are more concerned with principles, compromise and impression management and right seldom hesitates to wield whatever power they can. Obama should have gone scorched earth when they blocked the vote to confirm Garland. LBJ would have. So now we have a stacked court whose version of justice oppresses the majority.
If we let Trump slide, it won't make the right any less likely to prosecute their opponents when they have the evidence. They play by different rules.
I wouldn't take any chances with Trump. If the cases have merit to prosecute they should move forward. They can always give him special consideration in sentencing for the good of the country.

if there is evidence we WANT prosecution .. .i do at least... im not really on the left but i dont think tit for tat is a good reason to not properly punish crimes even if it was someone on MY side which is neither left nor right but more common sense and fairness.

Wow, reading through the indictment now.
So much for the right's argument that the boxes were always securely stored at Mar-a-Lago. Indictment shows pics of them in a ballroom, unsecured. Then text exchanges of employees discussing moving them to an empty shower. WTF?
What a giant, orange embarrassment on this nation.

I read the annotated version, because 49 pages sounds unfortunate.
So, I predict a defense of the hand motion thingy with the cleaning of the files.
I could see this case legalizing conspiracy as long as it is planned entirely in sign language.

Some right wingers seem to have been at least somewhat persuaded by the details of the indictment. Ben Shapiro said trumps behavior was nuts. Jonathan Turley could not muster his usual defense of trump. Fox anchors seem shocked by the photos of boxes in the bathrooms and public areas. Then they spent the rest of the half hour talking about hunter Biden

Yeah this is an easy case to prosecute. There’s so much evidence.

and mark levin went on a 20 minute fox new rant that made alex jones'frogs are gay rant look like dan rather reports.
and another guy (completely forget who) got excited that trump would get elected from prison and pardon himself.

there is a montage from the washington post of trump in 2016 talking about how he would clamp down on the leaking of classified documents.
i cant seem to find it by itself... i saw it in jesse dollarmore's report on it, but wow its comedy gold now.

Are you suggesting that the indictment will mean he couldn't get reelected?

Are the history books really to reflect that JFK gets a bullet while the Donald gets a free pass?
Not really a good look either way anyone can try to spin it.
Glad he's not in office anymore but its not like I'm happy about Biden now nor the Trump fanatics still running around full-tard nowadays.
I say let the two old farts sizzle out in time or duke it out over chess and bingo at the nursing home during their final years whilst being broadcasted to the nation. Reality Television enough for ya?

This is why I always say it was a blessing that Trump didn't die during his term. Can you imagine the religious fanaticism over him had he croaked in office? His worshippers remain unbearable as is, and the dude is a moron.
