Do you have or have you had a mentor?
    #28329961 - 05/22/23 12:56 PM (8 months, 3 days ago)

At the moment mine is redgreenvines. I am sure no explanation is necessary if you browse the forums.

But I am intrigued to know if any of you have or had a mentor and if so, how does/did he/she help you?

Truth be told, even though OC and possibly RGV can be evilish, I cannot help but like them very much. I believe in the future and what the future probably hold which is happiness and world peace.

Your choice of adopting an "evilish" mentor might explain why you've "not been helped one iota"?

I've never had a mentor for anything.

I've been shown a handful of things in life by others, but when it comes down to my fitness, mindset, things I do which help define myself, I have never had a mentor.

my mom and i have it good

us reading redgreenvines posts could make there be world peace

we only need 10 % for that

it's good

world peace is not that difficult to achieve

liberation is much more difficult to achieve you have to have revulsion for samsara and devotion

I am not a teacher or a -victimizer-.
Salvia is/was very kind to me as I am kind to it.

There is a really strange book http://cabu.info/resources/1/4%20More%20BLOG/at%20the%20feet%20of%20the%20master%20original.pdf
which I read, early in my quest, and I admit it distorted my more independent approach to the path, but I thought I should give it a go for a while, just in case it held some secret benefit.

I do not recommend that approach.

Including the link is not an endorsement, I have shifted away from that approach.

become your own mentor.

you've read Omnicyclion so know i endirce in essence to let yourself be guided by the highest psrt of you and purify that to reach higher and higher into Godhood.

there should be no holy books, dogmas and middlemen between you and the Highest. any of that, is worshipping golden bulls amd molochs.

Omnicyclion is one of the latest in the long series of holy books. If it heklps you connect to the divine within, use it as a step up to finding yourself, but punt it over the moon if it gets in the way of you finding yourself. you are granted permission to set it on fire, use it as toiletpaper  or roll joints with it, its not about the book, its about you finding the Divine Within.

God suggests rolling the pages into firecracker tubes to explode your own alchemy in on days firecorks use is permitted. Also, lay blotter acid on it.

Fundamental is letting the highest in yourself guide you completely.

makes complete sense to me.

We can only build with the bricks and mortar we believe to have. The foundation should be solid for you because its meant to support you.

you are your version of your universe collapsed into a being that is as you as your universe is. when you die, you expand into the universe you have become which collapses your universe opposite into a being again, your next incarnation, the next permutation in the flip flop interaction of your evolution.

When you achieve Godhood you are of all time, so also, now, seeing imperfect you reach for the skies, helping it.

I believe I am (becoming) God. 15 years back I would shake my head and laugh if someone told me I am (becoming) God!

So yeah, I reckon we are expanding our horizon.

I have good parents. My dad has his flaws but he did a pretty good job, wasn't abusive. My mom is a wonderful person. Other than that, no mentors. I would have liked for my dad to have been more of what I idealize as a mentor but I can't complain.
