Hey, I can’t be the first one to think about starting an religion organization to preotect our self from the state when we practice our right to spirituals consuming substance that nature provides for us.
I am not talking about an actual religion, that is a terrible destiny, we know that. I am just talking about a piece of paper that one would show to protect them self against governmental oppression

gravitational lensing is interesting, as is the event horizon of a black hole.
I would look up stuff related to Ayahuasca churches, I bet they know how to go about getting the proper paper work one would need to start such a belief structure.

Religions exist because people share the same beliefs.. or are consolidating belief structures amongst people who share the same culture..
Therefore because of this..
I'm asking what do I need to do to join or become part of this religion?

It's a Human right to take substance's. We were designed by nature to do so. 1 + 1 = 2. Education and Temperance, set and setting, baby clean conscience and honesty is recommended.

That's one way of seeing it.
I think some people like religion because it allows certain people to feel like they fit in to a community, many seek the comforts of a community and feeling safe in that community so they often join a religious establishment.
If your ideals are present within a certain group then you will send your kids to schools related to the ideals of that group and take your family to gatherings which promote those ideals, I am thinking of Catholics when I am writing this because Catholics often have their houses of fellowship align with education.
Many stay in touch with a religion during their life because that religion makes them feel safe in their community and helps make their community better.
If you know your neighbors are Catholic you will probably feel safer around them which is why in certain communities we see people with similar beliefs acting at ease but when people come that upset the white picket fences then things can get interesting because it challenges the status-quo.

I think starting a religion which you have no spiritual attachment to merely as a convenient excuse to take drugs is a terrible way to go about things.
For one, you probably wouldn't be granted any religious exemptions in most countries as there isn't any history of use in any culture you share necessarily, a common prerequisite for establishing traditional use.
Secondly, it bastardizes actual religious attempts at exemptions for use in cultures which do have a cultural foundation for use of some otherwise banned substances. You provide ammo for anti-drug lobbies to prevent such movements by being a insincere actor they can point to.
Thirdly, I think it convolutes legalization efforts which have no foundation in religious freedom. If you truly believe that people should have the right to take entheogenic or psychedelic substances on their own behalf, I suggest dropping the faux-religious veil entirely and working towards a philosophy that supports the legal right to imbibe without the need for religious protections.

I think you make a loot of sense, except the first part. I am a spiritual person and I think many people doing psychedelics are, most even. It’s hard not to become at least aware that there are more then what you can see when in a normal state of consciousness, when you take this stuff.
Can only speak for me but I do mushrooms to search for deeper insights and to heal my self from this broken society that I live in and I think I am not alone. Sure I do mostly recreational doses and I like to feel good, but that I find heals me. I need something more then what the material world offers me or I get super depressed and anxious.
So the spiritual part it not a lie, it is my church. But I don’t believe in a hierarchical structures where you would have priests and leaders that speak as if they have some kind of authority of what the truth is. That’s why the church would more be a loosely fit piece of document that would maybe only have a broad range of ideas that everyone can agree on. I haven’t really been thinking to much about this so I’m not fully qualified to talk to much about it. I thought this would be a good place to flush things out.
However your points are absolutely valid and something one should absolutely avoid. Great input!

is it relatable to you that to someone devoted to God with great personal sacrifice, your post is offensive?
you want to create a deliberately fake religion, to exploit a religiouds freedom amendment given to the near genocided Native Americans, to hide behind God and these honorable people to use drugs.
