Once a transaction has been finalized and the tokens have left your wallet, there is nothing you can do to reverse it. Sorry you got burned, consider that $750 the tuition you paid for a class on keeping your assets safe and learning the important lesson of never transacting with unknown websites.

Yup. Thanks for reassuring me that the transaction is final. I thought there might be a possibility of getting the tokens back, but LESSON LEARNED. Thanks again!

Sucks to hear you got scammed. Maybe little to late but you might want to follow @zachxbt on twitter. He exposes crypto scams and bad actors. Might be useful in the future. I know twitter sucks but I find it useful for crypto if you follow the right people. There are others like zachxbt but I can't really name them right now, if I do remember I'll add them here.

I also use the Brave browser in conjunction with a BitDefender subscription, which blocks known scam websites. Although I consider myself fairly cautious, there has been a time or two that a spoofed phishing email got me to click a link by accident, and either Brave or BitDefender blocked the page from loading, asking me "Are you sure?" (you can bypass the block if you are).

No, unfortunately not but don't feel bad - these are lessons you learn along the way during you crypto journey. Eventually you will create different wallets for holding, airdrops etc. to reduce the risk of things like this happening.

How did they get you? Was this an Ethereum wallet? Did you give them your seed phrase? How exactly did they get your crypto? Sorry for your loss brother.

I had 2.5 BTC stolen out of my Coinomi wallet. At the time it was worth ~$140,000. No one ever had access to my phone and no one could have gotten my seed phrase unless it was by brute force or luck. I have to assume there is a flaw in the Coinomi app itself.
Anyway, although I was quite angry and depressed for a while, I'm over it. I shouldn't have had it in a hot wallet anyway. Live and learn.

Did you store your seed phrase digitally? Photo / typed it?
Maybe another application on the phone was given permissions that gave it access to your wallet.
Is the seed phrase physically unaccessable to everyone in your personal life?
I'm unfamiliar with the coinami wallet. However this is another good reason to only use open source wallets like cake wallet. The code can be verified by the community to be safe and effective.
That is a terrible loss. I am sorry. Have you tried following the btc? If it ends up at an exchange there might be something you can do by reaching out to the exchange. Bitcoin is super not private and you can follow it forever. Stolen and otherwise "dirty" BTC is seized by exchanges all the time.
Another reason for fungible and private Monero

I had the seed stored in LastPass, encrypted with a 25 character password and accessible only to my wife.
I tried folowing it. It went to an address that rec'd several deposits a day that were all promptly transferred out. I'm a dinosaur, so not saavy enough to get any farther than that.

$140,000!! That's terrible.
There was a PEPE webpage advertising a free airdrop that I opened... I connected my wallet and ok'd the transaction for I think $.09. The coins were removed from my metamask wallet instead of me recieving coins. I didn't know that was possible at the time.

Yeah you paid a gas fee for a smart contract that gave them access to your funds. Im sure you learned now, but with Ethereum Web 3 wallets Only give out your address. The only time you should ever connect your wallet is if you are using an open source service like Uniswap. Open source means that the community can audit the code and make sure there is nothing malicious about the way that it works.

Because of the level vulnerabilities I never recommend keeping any digital input of your seed phrases. Especially with a closed Source software like Last Pass. Nobody knows how their service works. No one can audit the code. So you are putting your trust in that company.
Bitwarden is an Open Source alternative for people who insist on that service. You don't need to trust the company because the code that runs it is public for everyone to see.
What I prefer for That purpose is multi signature wallets. You can set up a wallet that requires 2 of 3 Seed phrases one for you, one for your wife, one for a relative or close friend. only two of the 3 seed phrases are required to access the funds so if something happens to you they can use both of their codes to access your crypto.
Also products are available that make is easy to store your seed on water proof, fire proof Steel!
I can help you or anyone else that might want to set something like that up.
Ill check out your transaction and see if there is anything I can learn from it.
I really appreciate you and OP Sharing their stories. Really helps people. the 3 rules always give to new people are
*Always Self Custody *Physical only storage of seed phrases *Avoid KYC exchanges, or if you insist. Buy only Monero and trade that anonymously for whatever you want.

The exchanges can be, but decentralized autonomy with capped supply is an excellent alternative to fiat by which credit is endlessly expanded, inflating, stealing value, enabling perpetual war. That resembling lawful money stifles the greedlust of the state.
