Mushroom Teabags On the Go - (OTG Tea Tek)
    #28318484 - 05/13/23 04:21 PM (8 months, 11 days ago)

Good evening cult! It's been a little while since the Psilli Cube Tek and I wanted to share another tek with you. This one is a bit more original and helps you travel more incognito with your medicine.

What you will need:

1-2g of dried mushrooms
Scissors
Teabags (Preferably Bigalow because it seals back up. Others may work too. I also prefer non-caffeinated. Change that if you wish)
Stapler
Impulse/Vacuum Sealer or Food Grade Glue (Impulse/Vacuum sealer works best)

Step one:
Grind up your mushies. You can also use this tek with all the tiny pins and aborts (yum)

Step two:
Cut the teabag just below the original seal. Try to make the cut as straight as possible to preserve authentic look after your seal.

Step three:
Remove the small staple that holds the bag together and the string on the bag. Now unfold one side at a time, but make note on how it was originally folded (so you can fold it back up properly in step five.

Step four:
Weigh out dried mushies and load the bag 1/2 - 1g ON EACH SIDE. More than 1g don't fit back into the packaging as well prior to sealing. It may bulge and look a little sus.

Step five:
Staple the teabag and the string bag onto the bag.

Step six:
Stuff the teabag back into the original packaging (No photo required. you're all smart folks).

Step seven:
Impulse seal the teabag OR use food grade glue (I found Wilton brand "Dab-N-Hold" on Amazon for $10. It goes a long way, but I prefer the seal of the impulse. If you use the Dab-N-Hold, you will need to apply the glue and then closepin/chip clip for about 18-24 hours. After a bag or two, you'll find the sweet spot to get a perfect seal, using either method. This doesn't just warm up glue or something.. THIS REALLY SEALS THE TEABAG.

BONUS TIPS:
1.) Lay's potato chip bags will also seal right back up. I've been testing several different food items bags and I'm surprised how many seal back up and look unmodded (if done right). Perfect for incognito storage. I recommend vacuum sealing in your own bag and then sticking that bag into whatever packaging you are using to be incognito. This helps keep them from getting any chip oils and also help child proof the mushies.

2.) When steeping the tea bag, you are looking to steep it for 30-40mins. I prefer to fill the cup half way and then filling the other half once 15 mins has elapsed. This will ensure that you keep the water nice and hot for the entirety. Insulated cups can also aid with keeping the water temp high during your long steep time.

ENJOY!!
