why my san pedro is non-existant
    #2831795 - 06/26/04 11:03 PM (12 years, 5 months ago)

About a week ago i decided to prepare my cactus for my first mescaline dose (using mj's extraction method of course). At 12:00 AM i chopped a little less than 2 feet of cactus into slices, and then quarters of slices. Blended it with equal amounts of water, and began to boil. Boiled it for about 2 1/2 hours, and fell ASLEEP  4 hours later i wake up and lay there thinking about what i'm going to do that day. "hmmm, what's that funny smell?! Oh shit, my cactus!" Ran to the cactus to find a layer of thick black gooey shit on the bottom of my pot. Man was i dissapointed. My house smelled terrible for about 3 days. I really wish i wouldn't have fell asleep and would have tripped the mescaline. Guess it just wasn't my time  :smirk:

Man thats bad luck and a sad waste of an awesome cactus, if you were tired enough to fall asleep you probably weren't ready for the journey my friend (not that I've been their myself, yet)

sorry for your loss. just take a few cuttings if you have more cactus left and start several and hopefully each will have multiple pups.

a few years ago a roommate decided he wanted to boil some hot dogs then either left or fell asleep. another roommate comes out because of smoke to find a flaming pot on the stove. the house reeked. i also left some rye going till it was dry and that was a stink but it cleared up alright. i still havent been able to find myself a san pedro/p.tortch locally. one day!

It was pretty stupid of me, i should have done it during the day. There goes $35 down the drain :p I've done that with ramen noodles too hooty, and ruined my pot as well.

i would eat the goo if you didn't throw it out already, never tried it before but a few members here said that's how they prepare it normally, like boil it down to goo like pod putty and either cap or swallow little balls of it and said it works fine :stoned:

I don't think it'd be possible at the time. It was about 1/2 cm thick of very thick goo. Totally ruined my pot...and yes....i did cry
