Creating A "Pageless" PDF
    #28283845 - 04/18/23 02:00 PM (9 months, 5 days ago)

I want to take this link:

https://www.inaturalist.org/journal/nolo_mode/77879-a-true-intro-to-the-identification-of-fungi

...and print it as a PDF without page breaks so it looks like one continuous page. I also want to remove the iNaturalist site content if possible. I also want the format, style, and appearance to be identical in the PDF. I prefer to run Linux. Can you tell me exactly how?

Why do you want to remove the original credit to the site that created it?

My Linux Computer usually defaults to firefox, not sure if yours does. If not, I think firefox cuts off at least some of those annoying banners and urls that make pages look confusing. If you can get that browser, go to the menu at the top of the window, navigate to file at the left, go down to print and then print as pdf comes up as default on mine. If you don't see it on your machine click the text below the "destination" section and it should pop up near the bottom of the list of available printers.

:whathesaid:

You can highlight and print selection, then custom format page to a single long page.

I can't seem to get a clean, faithful version with this method. I can get a poor version in which the text and imagery are terribly displayed.

That link was helpful! I was able to get a decent PDF. However, I need instructions for creating a continuous, "pageless" PDF as if it were one single page.

There should be a browser extension to "turn page into pdf." Use firefox or something.
