... in Kapila’s “ Sankhya ” Philosophy, unless, allegorically speaking, Purusha
mounts on the shoulders of Prakriti, the latter remains irrational, while
the former remains inactive without her. Therefore Nature (in man)
must become a compound of Spirit and Matter before he becomes what
he is ; and the Spirit latent in Matter must be awakened to life and
consciousness gradually. The Monad has to pass through its mineral,
vegetable and animal forms, before the Light of the Logos is awakened
in the animal man. Therefore, till then, the latter cannot be referred to
as “MAN,” but has to be regarded as a Monad imprisoned in ever
changing forms.

The Secret Doctrine

Blavatsky's aim is to provide for the Victorian crisis of faith, and to counter Christianity, and to show that ancient wisdom is sourced in India, in esoteric Brahmanism, and to merge that with the Occult.

I don't question the caliber of her mind but there is something that seems to compromise when proposing a path with the intention to take down another, not to say the church doesn't deserve dressing down in aspects. But there is also truth to idea of sacrifice and redemption, karma mitigation and grace, not that I prefer the brutality of the the blood of the lamb story.

I didn't intend to get into this as it is one part of the Gone West series I don't like, but an interesting view on the necessity.

-SPOILER-
The elemental high spirit mentioned before was interested in man, taken with sympathy in regard to their state. It found itself at Golgotha, and was shocked and moved wanting to end the suffering state of Jesus. Reading it again I see an answer given.

Quote:

"'So at length I reached the earth plane, and wandered unseen among the sons of men- till
the sorrow of the world ate into my soul and grief for its woe overwhelmed me.
'Yet try as I would, I found I could do little to help mankind, for I was not of their nature. Till
one dread day I stood on a hill near a city men call Jerusalem and I gazed in the faces of
three who were crucified. Then He in the centre saw me, though the rest saw me not, and He
spoke these words:
'''O spirit of air, who knowest not the love of man, draw near."
'And I drew near, and said, "I have sought suffering and grief that I might be able to aid men
folk. Thou, who seemest to be the King of Pain, bring pain to me."
"'And He smiled. "Thou hast asked a hard thing, yet shall it be given unto thee. Wrench forth
the nails which fasten My hands and feet, and set Me free."
'Then I arose and strove to grasp the nails, but couldn't, for they were material, and I
immaterial. And as I strove my utter helplessness filled me with a new sensation, and it was
grief. For, strive as I might, I could do nothing to help that gentle sufferer.
" 'And the grief grew to an intensity of pain which is indescribable.
"'Then again He spoke. "It avails not, thou canst not help Me, and yet in the striving thy
request has been granted. Go, and My love for man go with thee.
" 'Then the vague desire to help man grew into a burning passion, and I went from the spot
and strove to help them. And now it seemed that I was changed in spirit, or I comprehended
their griefs and also how to help them

The answer for me was to know the love of man. So to know the love of man is to know pain, which makes sense and can't be negated. Another facet of Golgotha is the message that nothing real can be harmed, which is A Course in Miracles, etc.

It seems the commonality is that we screwed up coming here, if pain is screwing up; loving this, we know pain, and we are not of pain. Yet the solution is to help. And on the other hand is the evolutionary aspect where we could not have known without going through the elements.

I don't get it. Why did Monad need this to evolve back into itself? Pizza pizza! Oh that's right, it seemed an accident in various sources.

In spiritual contexts, the term "monad" has been used to refer to a single, indivisible unit of consciousness or divine essence. This idea can be found in the teachings of various esoteric and mystical traditions, including Neoplatonism, Hermeticism, and Theosophy.

According to these teachings, the monad is the source of all creation and the ultimate reality behind all things. It is often described as being beyond time and space, and as possessing infinite power and intelligence. Some spiritual teachers also suggest that human beings have a monadic essence, which is a spark of the divine within each person.

The concept of the monad can be seen as a way of understanding the fundamental unity of all things, and of recognizing the interconnectedness of all aspects of existence. It is often associated with spiritual practices such as meditation and contemplation, which are seen as ways of attuning oneself to the divine essence within and around us.

You can't be in a simulation, if you are, you are part of the simulation.

is your consiousness reaching into a simulation? Absolutely, just like in Secondlife.com your earthly body is part of a material realm your c0nsiousness doesn't originate.

you are the ghost in the machine. your body is as much part of you as your flipflop or car. you put it on for a purpose, then you take it off.

You probably have the same problems in a simulation as you would have in the real world.

I'd love to feel like the next life will be even better. Anyway, I'm not sure and it's possible that this is the only moment we ever have and I'm going to try my best!
