Howdy. I agree with you. I mean to imply to achieve "World Peace" humanity may need to take many small baby steps. We are on a 200,000 epic so far. We have had maybe 40,000 years of rituals. Humanity may need a few more Jesus' or Buddhas to get to World Peace. Although your road map is valid. I suspect humanity needs more patience to change their constructs and world views.

I used to think reconnecting Christianity to it's mystical entheogenic roots (mushroom) would usher in a new Golden Age of Understanding...!! I haven't had much luck with that.

World peace? We can't even have peace locally. Look at all the shootings, murders, and rapes that happen commonly every day in every city. The problem is that we're a primitive and backwards species with little intelligence and incredibly little morality and kindness. We've one step above animals, and it's not even a very large step.
It'll take tens or hundreds of thousands of years for humanity to advance to a point genetically where even local peace is within our grasp, and then maybe we can talk about world peace. That's assuming we even survive that long.

British zoologist Desmond Morris wrote "The Human Zoo" in 1969, and in the book, he talks about how little mental illness existed at that time. Considering the abnormal nature of civilization, he thought, at the time, the mental illness rates were surprisingly very low. What would he say today?
The chaos, anger, violence, and self-destructive behavior we see in modern people is a sign of social disintegration. You don't see this in primate communities.

There really is no such thing.
People are unstable in large numbers. They will fight and dispute sometimes.
Pursuing world peace is essentially pursuing control of everybody's behavior. That's what leads to fights.
-------------------- Welcome evermore to gods and men is the self-helping man. For him all doors are flung wide: him all tongues greet, all honors crown, all eyes follow with desire. Our love goes out to him and embraces him, because he did not need it. ~ R.W. Emerson, "Self-Reliance"

People who love Bohemian life and style are using wall mandala tapestries in home décor, fashion, accessories, beauty, and other related aspects of life. These beautiful designs can be used to add complex color and ritual to a room and help you achieve your present goals of enlightenment - whatever that may be for you.
Interesting. However I do not know what enlightenment is to me?

that's true, i actually have a hard time smiling back if it happens to me. it was meant in a more metaphorical sense. smile at your friends at least except if they don't like it, then don't ...
