russel brand has an interesting and very liberal perspective... anti war...and anti group think.
he isnt always right... but he is certainly worth a listen
An interesting perspective does not mean that it is an informed perspective. I also have an interesting perspective, but I'm just some internet idiot.
I agree with many things that Russell Brand has said over the years, but I also discount his thoughts on vaccines, ever since he hopped on the antivax train.
However, being charismatic is the only thing that Russell Brand is legitimately qualified to discuss, and the only topic on which I am willing to defer to his expertise. I have actually studied his mannerisms, especially how he deflects unkind or uncomfortable questions during talk shows, and implement some of those lessons in my daily life. Matter of fact, I think Brand might actually be one of the best people to learn charismatic behavior patterns from.
Literally every other topic, except for chemistry/chemE, his opinion matters as much as mine does: it doesn't. And since I don't use my actual name here, you can't even verify that my opinion on chemistry matters.

I thought you meant he said some stupid shit about vaccines , but this dude has an anti vaccine charity . He takes money from morons to fight vaccines , I didn't even know that was a thing . I don't know what the fuck the media has to say but when you're getting millions of dollars to do your antivax thing , that's god level antivax . You can't get anymore antivax than that .

And being locked up for taking/having them..
Ones body is at their own liberty to discuss, destroy, manage, and manipulate. I think anything reinforcing that, regardless of subject matter is prob a good thing
Also if all this seems to be what it is published lies and all that. He's prob just and idiot and there is no Valor in any of his statements even if is espoused in freedom or whatever it was he was purveying
Who was held down and forced to take a vaccine? Or is that just something you made up?

The US government has a rich history of medical experimentation on unsuspecting people.
Couple that with an industry that’s not trusted (and just gave us the opioid epidemic) and a general sense that the government isn’t regulating pharma anywhere close to the extent it should, and it’s easy to see why people are distrustful.
That said, I don’t think most antivaxxers are operating from those premises, it’s mostly just culture warriors signaling their “I’m a lion not a sheep” virtues at each other.
Am I the only one who thinks it's hella ironic that all the god-fearing, Jesus-loving Christians are the people buying "Lions, not Sheep" branded clothes and shit?

Being Christian and loving Jesus is just another cultural signifier at this point.

What absurd about that is that we over regulate. The process for getting a drug approved in the US is unbelievably burdensome.
It’s getting very difficult to fill any schedule 2 prescription these days.

I take generic Truvada and it says without insurance it costs $1,700 per month. Because it’s a preventative medicine, insurance has to cover it for free. Thanks Obama.

Damn 1,700$ seems pretty rough too better then 4 grand but still these are super expensive drugs. I'll never pitch about a 80$ copay again.
Also it shows its your birthday today happy birthday koods! 🎂
