How'd Your Team Draft (2023)

Anyone watch the NFL darft? Have thoughts on it?
I am a New England life long fan. Been tough times up here since TB12 left. This draft was pretty good.
Gonzales was probably the best corner in the draft and a top 3 need for the pats.
The other pick that really stands out to me is Kayshon Boutte, WR, LSU. Before a disappointing season last year, he was talked about as possibly being the #1 or #2 WR (1st rounder) for this draft. His stock fell a lot, but scooping him at 187 was a bargain.

The Pats gave the Steelers a sweet deal in the first round and also stuck it to the Jets.

KC did well - I’m glad they focused mostly on defense, and even picked up the WR, though I think they are good with what they’ve got, even with JuJu leaving.
Would’ve loved for them to have nabbed that TE tho, 1st rounder. Would’ve been a perfect time for Kelce to groom an up and comer. Maybe things didn’t align for a reason though.

The Bears had a good draft, with all the "experts" rating it B+ to A. They have improved on all their weaknesses except edge rusher, which is an issue they need to address in free agency. The new GM is following through on his plan to get good and stay good, picking up extra high picks for next year. Nobody from the NFC North is going to win the Super Bowl, but it's up for grabs and the Packers are looking like last place. The Lions are favored.

More of a college football guy...partially because the falcons never fail to disappoint. Taking Bijan in the first round is a classic ATL move - instead of addressing the defense that has needed help for the past 30 years, they choose a flashy offensive position that will sell jerseys. Loved picking up Clark Phillips to help the secondary, I'm surprised he fell down to the 4th round. Not that any of this really matters because I think the Saints will have a chokehold on the NFC South this year.

Yeah, but Bijan is a legit gamebreaker (or likely to be one in the NFL) but yep, imagine drafting an RB 8th overall
